Susan R Wiersma

Back in 1991 at UW Children's Hospital, dr. Wiersma and her team took great care of me. To this day she is still my idol along with her nurse that took care of me also Barb Burns. The whole team at UW Children's Hospital in Madison was phenomenal

This lady saved my life when I was younger. I was 17 and had no idea what cancer was, she was strict but she made sure I was taken care of. Could not thank her enough.

Dr Wiersma was my son's oncologist in Madison WI. She cared for him during the duration of his treatment. My husband and I are eternally grateful for the talent, dedication and compassion she showed us throughout. We have our son, Ben today thanks to Dr Wiersma. She works in the most painful of situations. I am saddened to see these reviews. But remember as you read them, she has undoubtably cared for hundreds of children over the years.

my son was diagnosed by dr wiersma and my whole family found her to be excellent in her profession ability, diagnosis, care, knowledge and understanding in our dillema. we were extremely satissfied with her.

Dr W cared for our daughter many years ago in Wisconsin. I can honestly say that she is alive today--against the odds--because of Dr W's care, including some difficult decisions. What I read here is very sad and, I'm afraid, quite possibly true but my wife and I will always have a great deal of respect and appreciation for Dr W. And no, this is not a bogus post.

I'd choose another doctor. She didn't do much to help our child.
