Dr Phillips, from day one when my son was in the hospital and they were trying to diagnose him, has been very thorough in his care. She is very passionate about helping my son and making sure he gets everything he needs to keep him medically safe. Dr. Susan Phillips is straight forward, very thorough, honest, hardworking & truly cares about her patients. My sons A1C's are down & we continue to thrive with our sons T1D due to her educating us on many levels of this complicated disease. Dr. Phillips had also been kind enough to take the time to exam my youngest when she saw a suspicious rash around her nose without even being asked & have quick discussions with my oldest Daughter whose dream is to be a Dr. Herself. Avoid ! We had to wait for 1:h 45min after being checked in. When she finally showed up, she was rather rude , made me feel uncomfortable She has a confrontational demeanor. The whole visit was under 4 min.

We brought our 12 year old daughter to be seen by Dr. Phillips. She told our daughter she was, "obese," asked her what she ate daily and offered, "If I ate that I would be fat too." In addition to being ignorant regarding eating disorders and fat shaming, her shirt was inside out, her hair a mess and she presented as frazzled and disorganized. I was shocked, frankly, to have encountered her at Children's Hospital. I would not under any circumstances have her see my child.
