After my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction (with a different surgeon) I was experiencing severe animation deformity anytime I engaged my chest muscles. I had already had 3 breast surgeries in the year following my breast cancer diagnosis, I was reluctant to have another. Dr. MacLennan was recommended to me by a dear friend and fellow breast cancer patient. Immediately, I appreciated Dr. MacLennan's honest discussion about what could be done to fix the problem, and realistic outcomes. It wasn't always easy to hear, but she stressed it was important to manage my expectations as this was a reconstruction, NOT cosmetic surgery. It's now been just about a month since that surgery, and I couldn't be happier. The animation issue is fully repaired, and aesthetically, my breasts actually look better than they have since before I had children. I have an enviable cleavage -- not bad for a 56 year old breast cancer survivor! I can't recommend Dr. MacLennan enough.

From the very first visit I always felt very very comfortable with Dr. MacLennan. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions which is so important to me! She is one of the nicest, most knowledgeable, and professional doctors I have ever met!

I was able to get my surgery quickly after my consultation and it was a smooth process. After a small complication arose, I was taken care of with the utmost professionalism. I work in Customer Experience and am usually very underwhelmed (if not disgusted) as a customer. Not so this time. First, they carry one and only one skincare line, and it happens to be the absolute best, so that told me something. Then when I inquired about a particular product, knowing I was unlikely to get an answer any time soon (products are probably not at the top of the list for most surgeon’s offices), I was surprised to hear from them a day later—with a clear, detailed answer and a great attitude to match. I have not even met the doctor, but if Alexa is any indication of quality, this practice should be five star.

I had ftm top surgery and she was fantastic! Great bedside manner, fantastic results. I’m not on testosterone and the results were great nonetheless + she was very respectful. At my latest appointment she was asking me more questions about how I felt about dysphoria (gone!), how I felt about the results, etc.

I saw Dr. MacLennan for a breast reduction recently and couldn’t be more pleased with the whole process. The procedure went well and she is a highly skilled surgeon—the results were fantastic, both aesthetically and in regard to my back pain. The recovery process was fairly quick, owing to her surgical methods. She and all of the other office crew were always very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns I had, which was very reassuring. The whole team at Mountain Lake is extremely kind and easy to work with—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. MacLennan and her team to my friends, family, and anyone else!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this office is. The office manager answered all my questions in a timely manner. And Dr. MacLennan made me like new. I will continue to see Dr. MacLennan, and I will recommend her to everyone I know. She is patient, understanding, and doesn't push her own agenda. Excellent care! From the First appointment to my follow up appointments, I have received the best service and care. All my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable with my decision to proceed with surgery. Dr. MacLennan is by far the best cosmetic surgeon in Vermont if not New England.

I just had a bilateral breast augmentation procedure completed by Dr. MacLennan. Dr. MacLennan has been extremely competent, knowledgeable and patient with me and the entire process. Her entire team of nurses and clinicians played such an integral role in the whole procedure and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! I have had 3 visits with Mountain Lake Plastic Surgery recenty and cannot express how pleased I am with my experience. From the beautiful welcoming office, to the knowledable caring staff. Location is easy to get to, plenty of onsite parking, and increadible staff that take their time with you. I've never felt rushed in an appointment which have become the norm in todays medical field. Dr MacLellan is an amazing surgeon whose skillful results have exceeded my expecations. If you are considering a service that she or her team provide I would highly recommend you select them, you will not be dissapointed.
