Dr. Delaney is the best and helped me a great deal. She was extremely patience and very attentive to all my needs. She took the necessary time to assess the situation and the feedback that she provided was excellent and my treatment plan was outstanding. She deserves 10 Stars!!!

I Went to see her a couple years ago for anxiety related issues. She was super rude. I had filled out my paperwork and then when she retrieved it, she noticed I had forgotten to sign at the bottom. She said to me "you have the worst A..D.D. of anyone I have ever seen. Why would you skip over the most important piece of this document?" She has zero ability to communicate and comes off very rude. I was blown away that she was being so rude after only 5 minutes of meeting her. I could not resist in jabbing back that ADD/ADHD are phony diseases. She has written many books and serves on many boards related to ADD/ADHD so this really got under her skin. LOL. Stay far away from Susan Delaney, She is a Jerk. WARNING!! I would give zero stars if possible. Do NOT see this person. I refuse to call her a doctor. She diagnosed my son within ten minutes as Bipolar even though he did not fit the typical criteria. Put him on such a high dosage of Depakote that the pharmacist REFUSED to fill it because it was so dangerous! With out scientific proof she told my son that he was PERMANENTLY BRAIN DAMAGED and NEEDED TO PRAY TO GOD FOR FORGIVENESS. She forced him to write that on a piece of paper and read it aloud. My son had night terrors for two weeks and slept with the Bible on his chest in fear that God would punish him for something that he did wrong. My son has NEVER been suicidal UNTIL THAT DAY but with the love and support of family, friends and professionals he has been able to over come his experience with her. He has since been diagnosed with Panic Disorder and Depression.Which is a far cry from Bipolar. Very easily treated with an Antidepressant and a mild sedative for the rough times. She is extremely rude and will not let the patient talk and is VERY degrading. She told my son that she once treated homeless twins that had demons and that their eyes changed colors right in front of her.. I have filed a formal complaint to the Texas State Medical Board and will happily make the drive to Austin if necessary to testify before the board. This is only MY OPINION but I believe that she herself needs extensive psychiatric help. I deeply worry about the sick, fragile and broken minds that find themselves in her care. I came to Susan in a time of dire need for psychiatric help and not only did she turn me away, she offered me no outlet nor gave me a suggestion on how to get help. If you want to see s good psychiatrist don’t go here. Especially if your in psychosis. She has no idea how to help someone who is bipolar during an episode. Probably why she turned me away. Luckily I got the help I needed from the best psychiatrist in Dallas. Dr Jaye Crowder. Go see him if you want real psychiatric help and the best at that. I started seeing Dr. Delaney on a recommendation from a friend. Dr. Delaney truly helped me gain my sanity back after a series of life changing events. She seems to have a knack for assessing the issues involved in your life and pinpointing the correct plan of care-one step at a time!

Dr. Delaney is a God-send in my eyes! She is very available and attentive. I am thankful for the time she took with me and especially grateful for her on-time scheduling. She took the time to know me FIRST before any suggestion of treatment. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Delaney!

I have been seeing Dr. Delaney for over two years now and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her! She manages medication but also is very consistent in offering coping skills to help me in difficult times. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Delaney to my family and friends.

Dr. Delaney was a God-send in a very low part of my life. I appreciate the time and the attention she spent with me. She was very attentive to my situation and has brought me back to a level ground. Thank you, Dr. Delaney!

WARNING!! DO NOT SEE THIS PERSON. I would give zero stars if I could. I refuse to call Susan a doctor. On my son's first visit within ten minutes she diagnosed my son as Bipolar. He does not even fit the criteria of Bipolar. She then proceeded to prescribe a dangerously high dose of Depakote (which he didn't need). It was such a high dose that the pharmacist REFUSED to fill it! She was rude and would not let my son speak. She is VERY condescending. THIS IS OUR EXPERIENCE...

Dr. Delaney is very patient and kind. She gives you her full attention and listens closely. She makes suggestions regarding behavior modifications as well as medication, when necessary. I travel 50+ miles to her office and I will continue to make the drive. She is worth it!

I had seen several psychologist in the past with limited results so I had almost given up on seeking help when I found doctor Dr. Delaney. Luckily she has great insight and extensive experience in her field that allows her to tackle even the most complicated cases. I am so grateful to have found her, and continue to see her.
