Dr. Susan Marie Berger

I made an appt to see Dr Berger in May. I had been to see her once before about a year ago. When I arrived the receptionist ask for my insurance card and I explained I had forgotten it but my insurance was the same. She said I needed the card to be seen. I have cancer and I’m having chemotherapy so it is difficult to summon the energy to make it to these appointments. When did the medical profession lose their compassion and their concern for their patients. It seems like all they care about is getting paid. The receptionist simply could have run the insurance number into computer to find out insurance was active. That you for your help and may someday the same be done to you or your loved one. I thought she was a wonderful physician the first visit I had. On the second visit, she did not believe me when I told her about the reaction I had to a medication. Trusting her judgment, I again tried the medication and had the same irritating allergic response. I have tried to access the patient profile and was sent a code and temporary password, however the code did not work. Over the past 2 weeks, I have tried to contact someone at the office and left 6, yes 6 messages and have not received one return call. With such lack of accountability with the staff, I choose not to return to that practice. I traveled an hour and 30 minutes to the office. I am a registered nurse.

The most amazing doctor you will ever find. Dr. Berger gives so much to her patients. Her knowledge and sincere compassion will make you feel confidante in tackling your illness. Dr. Berger is always accessible to her patients and so generous with her time. I have scleroderma and always felt like I was falling through the cracks until I became a patient of hers. I have been treated by Dr. Berger for six years and received excellent care. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of rheumatoid arthritis, is thorough in her diagnosis and treatment of the disease, and up to date on new treatment medications. She is accessible with email communication or message through her office and never fails to respond. Dr. Berger thoroughly and thoughtfully explains her recommendations and opinions and always answers questions or concerns. Her office support and medical staff are beyond comparison.

Very kind. Helpful and listens to your needs. Really cares about your individual problems. Highly recommend. Very short wait period also. Nice office staff too.
