Dr. Susan Anvin

Susan Anvin is the single best psychologist I will probably ever have in my life. Every week, she helped me get through my constant transitioning into adulthood, struggles with my work and personal life, family issues, identity crises, etc. I was a mess and Susan remained patient and encouraging and everything I needed when I didn't know where else to turn. I believe every person could benefit from having a qualified professional to talk to about anything. You deserve to see Susan. Dr. Anvin has helped me a lot with my depression and anxiety. You need to be very clear with her, as to what your goals are in sessions with her. But as long as she knows WHAT you want to accomplish, she will surely help you get there. My favorite thing about Dr. Anvin is that you can tell she is human. Some therapists feel the need to appear indestructible, but Anvin has told me about her struggles, in a way that shows me it IS possible to overcome my struggles. Very productive and helpful.

I have called Susan every day for 3 weeks now, I've left roughly 15 messages and I still haven't heard back from her. If she's not taking new patients she should have the decency to let them know or at least let the insurance company whom she contracts with that she will not be returning calls or taking new patients.
