By far an excellent Doctor I’ve seen since 2005. I owe it to him for making my life a better place to be!

1 star is being generous. If you are actually interested in getting psychological help and not just thrown a cocktail of pills that will land you in the hospital on more than 1 occasion do not see him. I’m writing this on behalf of my father, whom actually just landed in the hospital for being prescribed meds that were unnecessary. This has happened before, and when I called Dr. Sureddi he was very arrogant, didn’t seem to care about my dad’s condition, and when I questioned his competence as a psychologist he said he was the doctor not me. Utterly disgusting. 1 star is being generous. Doctor Suresh Sureddi is an amazing doctor. If you are looking for personal care instead of going to an office like it’s a business, schedule an appointment with Dr. Sureddi.

I first want to address a couple reviews that were recently given. 1st being to Zoe R I'm sorry your dad had to go to the hospital but you might want to consider the reason could be found elsewhere versus blaming Dr. Sureddi. A while back I needed a script that I normally got from my PCP. Too late to get it from that doctor so I asked Dr. S if he would prescribe it. Kindly he said he couldn't; it wasn't even a controlled substance but he had his reasons and I respected them and him. So, your accusation being Dr. Sureddi throws pills to his patients without proper diagnosis is wrong and unjust. 2nd review I want to address is Mr. Ali. Any doctor who takes appointments while driving says to me, Lucky You. You have the luxury to conduct your appointments wherever you want! More and more offices are scheduling patients to come in person to see the doctor. Some years ago, during the holidays I needed my Adderall refill. When it's time for refill I text Dr. S and list the pharmacy info, etc. I received confirmation the script was sent only to find out my pharmacy was out of stock. I sent another text to Dr. S, etc. After a few text messages back & forth he called me and said make sure whichever pharmacy I text to him next has it in stock because he's on vacation for the holidays and the messages are getting lost in translation (is the best way to explain it) since HE'S OUT OF THE COUNTRY. I don't know 1 other doctor who would text me while on vacation about a refill or for anything else. Then to call to confirm while overseas on vacation? AMAZING! To anyone who thinks Doctors are arrogant. Well THEY ARE!! But it's a confidence due to their intelligence and credentials. Would you want to go to a doctor who lacked these personality traits? Have you ever met a surgeon? I know a few. All good people however, they have the "I am God" complex. And that's okay. I've been a patient of Dr. Sureddi for many years. He's not in my health provider network either. He's laid back but professional. He works with you financially, not because your situation is shameful but because he's empathetic and has compassion for people. I highly recommend Dr. Sureddi. When you call he personally answers the phone and goes the extra mile to make sure you are actually doing ok. He is very professional and calming and takes the time to hear you out and makes sure everything is clearly communicated. One of the best doctors I’ve dealt with.

Before I would go into details, I would like to make it clear this is a totally unbiased and honest review. I would agree with the patient(s) complaining about his bedside manner and his arrogance. He does not listen to the patient but, rather rush to the conclusion without even letting you complete your sentence. He would take appointments while driving, with the loud GPS as a background noise, and would then defend that "you are not the only patient I does this with?". If you could do appointments while driving simultaneously that does NOT mean patient would like asking you to repeat your sentences over and over again. There is a self respect that everyone deserves OR, you could have asked ahead, or reschedule the appointment. I initially tried to proactively work with him and texted him that"I feel am NOT being heard". While I was expecting that we could sort things out in a better way, he instead tried to blame me that I had the same issues with the last DOC?. I wish I could have given him a written proof from my last DOC that he could not take patients cause of his research project & hospital. People who are reading this review would most probably be here cause we all need mental health support but, what I have noticed after working with Doc Sureddi, that things started to become worse. Each appointment started to promote my symptoms rather then helping me . Just a piece of advice, this is not end of the world, be wise in choosing your psychiatrist. I am pretty active on google reviews and like to give an honest unbiased view based on my experience and expectations. I believe Dr. Sureddi is very intelligent man who knows the ins and out of psychiatric conditions. Because of this, Dr. Sureddi seems complacent in his field, almost bored similarly to a person who is just burnt out. Because of this, I believe he is very quick to diagnose. I liken it to seeing a counselor and instead of them listening they are doodling. What he has in intelligence he lacks in bedside manner. I always felt that things were very quick and rushed, granted I have never seen a psychiatrist and was uncertain what to expect. Any time I brought up a side affect or concern about the medicine it was not taking serious. It is never the medicines fault regardless of what you are experiencing. It seems like he has done this for so long that there is a certain arrogance. As the saying goes. “If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room." I hope my review was helpful. While some potential clients may be impressed by titles, accomplishments, and accolades, I would rather have a doctor who is credentialed and listens to their patients. Best experience I have ever had! I am so thankful for his "bed side manner". Very understanding and friendly to talk to. I felt comfortable right away. Definitely recommend. Saved my life!

Finally a doctor that actually listens to you ,,I am so thankful to to have a doctor that talked with me not at me .Dr Sureddi made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat down in his office. i would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a doctor.

Dr. Sureddi is a very down to earth doctor. I've never known a doctor like Dr. Sureddi, who personally answers text and phone calls. He is so understanding and a pleasure to talk to. I am a teacher & on October 31, 2020 I called Dr. Sureddi to ask for an appointment for my relative who was referred to see a Psychiatrist by a family doctor because he thought my relative has ADHD. Dr. Sureddi gave my relative a Saturday 9 am appointment. For some reason my relative & I missed the appointment. I called Dr. Sureddi and I apologized. He accepted my apology and he gave me another appointment. While on the phone he joked to me saying that I have to pay another $300.00. I took his joke seriously and I explained by saying, that $300.00 is lot of money for me because I am just a teacher & my salary is not much. He was laughing and said me that he was joking. During the appointment he was very pleasant to talk to. He spoke with me & to my relative. His assessment was that my relative doesn't have ADHD. What he has is a behavior issue in which he can correct by himself without medication. In the end, Dr. Sureddi told me that I don't have to pay anything. I said, no I have to pay you for the Specialist Doctor's fee. He said, "it's okay I'll just charge the insurance". Well, I walked out of his office happy that my relative doesn't have ADHD and I met a super kind doctor. But, I was kind of embarrassed that I was not charged, because I explained that I am a teacher with a low salary. Dr. Sureddi is a very down to earth doctor. Dr. Sureddi is a very down to earth, understanding doctor. I have suffered for years with mental health problems, and I have been at the end of medical malpractice more than once. Most of my issues are well managed, except debilitating anxiety. He allowed me to continue my current regimen without altering it. Sureddi was the first physician to treat my anxiety. This has given me my life back, and Sureddi was the one to listen to my concerns and treat them as they came. Due to him, I’ll have an improved quality of life without nervousness, and this will give me the opportunity to do what I have wished to do for years but couldn’t, due to anxiety. If you are searching for a psychiatrist in the metroplex, I highly recommend Sureddi. He is to the point and you can tell that he genuinely cares. Dr. Sureddi is an Amazing Doctor. He is a specialist in Bipolar among many other psychiatry issues. He has helped thousands and thousands of adults and minor children.

Really nice doctor. I always feel calm when I go to visit which is good for someone with anxiety! He’s very honest and always is a conversationalist - you never really sit in silence in his office. He has really helped me over the past few months.

I am very pleased with Dr. Surredi. He is very knowledgeable. Very compassionate and kind. I think he is such a good doc that I followed him from Life path to his current location. I think he is the BEST psychiatrist.

He is a judge mental man that only thinks the things he are saying are true he is so self obsorbed and inappropriate. He doesnt even deserve a star

Dr. Sureddi, Is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever seen and even accepts Tricare! He goes above and beyond for his patients and truly wants his clients to get better. Dr Sureddi has moved from Lifepath and now has his own practice in Plano. He is so good at what he does. He is a master at finding the right medication for his patients. He responds quickly to requests. He has a big heart and really cares. I hope he continues to practice in the area for many years as I don't want to lose him as a psychiatrist. He is a treasure.

Down to earth answered all my questions. I've been with another Dr. For years who couldn't do what he did in a short time. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for mental health services. His prices are fair, the initial visit was a little more than I expected but worth every penny spent. I can't wait to continue services with him to see him continue to work his magic. Since moving from Phoenix to Dallas, I found it difficult to find a psychiatrist that I could really trust. I was able to get an appointment quickly and found Dr. Sureddi to be patient, empathetic and respectful. I was comfortable in our first appointment and discussed options. I have not been pleased with a single psychiatrist! Most are snarky. If 5 min. late, they refuge to see you & charge an office visit, which your insurance will not pay. But think nothing of keeping you waiting for an hour. You need your meds, they KNOW IT, & so you are dirt. Well, I found Dr. Sureddi different… VERY DIFFERENT! He is a caring man to his very core! He answers his own office phone (no receptionist); has a calming voice, a very pleasing nature & is exceptionally intelligent.
