In 2016, Dr Patel also saved my life! I was out of state in Az from NC when I was admitted to West Valley with a leaky Mitral Valve. Dr Patel was my surgeon and was so thorough in explaining to me both verbally and through his handwritten diagrams what was going on and the surgery he needed to perform. I was in ICU for 6 weeks after surgery. I was treated as if I were his only patient with care, professionalism and compassion. The nurses raved about the attention he gave to his patients. Dr Patel is one of the best Physicians I have ever met. He is very honest and does not sugar coat anything. However he is most definitely very proficient in his field. Dr. Patel and his team performed a double valve replacement for my wife. Their performance was beyond excellent. We were impressed by his approach and the results. Dr. Patel was genuinely concerned. He offered detailed and honest information and did not make assumptions or over-rely on test results. He showed us a video of the valves and explained why they were a problem. Dr. Patel kept in contact with Barbara, even checking up at home. He recognizes there’s a real person “in there” and not just a number. Dr. Patel is very thorough. Since a possible problem existed with a third valve, Dr. Patel conducted another ultrasound prior to starting the surgery. In deciding to repair or replace, Dr. Patel would not commit until he assessed the condition first-hand, during surgery. Although the surgery was lengthy (approaching 6 hours) and complicated, the team kept me informed. My wife’s positive outcome owes much to the knowledge, attention, and care given throughout this process.

Dr Patel saved my brother's life. My brother was diagnosed with endocarditis with vegetation on his heart that led to him needing his aortic valve and tricuspid valve replaced!!. My brother struggled with a lot of medical problems prior to his diagnosis. Dr Patel is one of the Best and most thorough Doctor's we've ever encountered and believe me we have met a lot of doctors. I also love Pritie Dr Patel's receptionist who is also his wife. She makes things happen and is always reminding you of what to do and is always on it. She never lets grass grow under her feet. Dr Patel and her together make an amazing team and our family is FOREVER thankful to Dr Patel and Pritie for all your hard work and for everything you both have done for our family. My primary cardiologist referred me to Dr. Patel. He was very thorough in explaining my options and the risks involved. He’s very caring and takes great care of his patients. If I ever needed open heart surgery again I would definitely choose Dr. Patel. As my cardiologist told me Dr. Patel has a small office but a big heart.

I recommend DrPatel,he saved my life,he removed and replaced 2 valves.He is a top surgeon in his field.I did my research on him and vetted him,which I found him to b the surgeon 4 me,This was a great choice and my choice,I would not be here without his skills as a surgeon! An open heart surgery is always risky and stressful. Your life is in your surgeon's hands during and after your surgery. Your surgeon must be someone experienced, trustworthy and compassionate, capable of minimize your natural fears explaining to you in advance the hole procedure step-by-step. Fortunately, we met Dr. Sundeep Patel who has all of these qualities/attributes and -again- performed an excellent work. We are very grateful to him for that.

Doctor Patel is a professional to the ninth degree. Communicates to the patient with non medical jargon that truly informs and builds confidence in his expertise. I am blessed to have had Dr. Patel for my heart surgery. Mike H.

Dr. Patel is a great surgeon and knows exactly what he is talking about when it comes to the heart. I was extremely comfortable with him and his bedside manners. I have had several surgeries for different things so I am pretty good at spotting a good doctor. Dr. Patel is very personable and explains the surgery in detail and exactly what must be done looking at the tests. He will answer any and all of your questions no matter how long it takes. I would recommend Dr. Sundeep Patel to all.
