Dr. Medidi is the best doctor I have ever had. I have multiple chronic issues, I'm not even middle aged, and I'm slightly overweight. If you know, you know. He is the only doctor who actually encourages me and works with me to help figure out why I cannot lose weight, acknowledging it is not only willpower at play. If I tell him something is off with my body, we explore possible causes not just assume I'm exaggerating or looking for problems. I cannot always come in, being immune compromised. After becoming established (key here, don't make assumptions he'll do it always or right away), when I need something simple, I can call and get it sent, such as a cold medicine or a referral. He takes as much time as is needed while being very forward about it, so he doesn't dally around and take extra time, he dives in and is like lets deal with this. But, he will take as much time as needed if you have multiple issues, so he won't move on to the next person until you are taken care of. Understanding this, expect him to treat all patients like this, so even though he is awesome about not double booking and staying mostly on schedule, there may be a time the person ahead of you needs a few minutes extra.. rest assured he would do the same for you. Dr. Medidi is as a doctor always should be--caring, understanding, action-oriented, and most of all...not judgmental about anything. Even if he doesn't approve he'll discuss it with you and not judge you if you don't agree with his opinion on it. Dr. Medidi is a true blessing to the chronically ill patient!
