I remember I used to see Dr Brinks when I was a kid I had type 1 diabetes. This guy was creep!!! I still remember till this day the things he used to do that would make me and my mother feel uncomfortable. He would look down my pants it would make me feel very uncomfortable and my mom who was in the room with me. I use to cry and tell him to stop and the more he would do it. My cousin who’s also has type one diabetes. she told he would do the same exact things to her that made her feel uncomfortable. I use to cry to my mom not to take me to see him. She spoke to my pediatrician and he changed me to different doctors in Rhode Island. Thank god. I was reading a few reviews and I’m not the only one apparently he’s done this to other women. I was around 13 yrs old when this happened I’m now 29 and till this day I still have anxiety just thinking about him and how uncomfortable he made me feel. I do NOT recommend this doctor to anyone please DO NOT take your children to this man or leave your children alone with him!!!! One of the BEST in the business! Patient for 15 years, have since moved, but always just a phone call away!

Dr. Brink misdiagnosed my brother back in 1992 causing him to nearly die at 11 years old, at Newton Wellesley Hospital where he practiced at the time. The kicker was his behavior when my parents wanted a second opinion from another doctor/facility as his condition kept deteriorating. Dr. Brink actually tried to prevent the other facility (Children's hospital) from treating my brother, telling the attending doctors and nurses, "He's my patient!" Turns out Childrens diagnosed him correctly (he had Hydrolic Uremic Syndrome) and saved his life. Needless to say my family stopped seeing Dr. Brink shortly afterwards. (We had been seeing him for my brother's juvenile diabetes and my high cholesterol since 1987) The fact that he is still practicing 25 years later is quite unnerving. In true form, he goes on to write a 5 star review about himself bragging that he teaches in "79 countries so far." Let's hope he doesn't teach bedside manner.......... ???? I’ve been a patient of Dr. Brink since 1989. Children’s Floating Hospital was signing my death certificate telling my mom one huge shot of regular insulin was supposed to bottom me out every morning and running at 300-400 the rest of the day was great. Dr. Brink saved my 6 year old self. Dr. Brink saved my life then and he still saves it now. He cares for me head to toe regardless if it’s his specialty or not. I’ve never met a doctor that genuinely cares the way this doctor does. I was with my primary care for 6 years before he noticed I was a Type 1 Diabetic, some real “care” in that health care, huh. I’ve never gotten Care from any facility that’s quite the same. In his office you’re a person not a number like at most other places. Any aligation of mistreatment is simply false or exaggerated so far that it isn’t even believable. Remember, no ones perfect, including doctors. But I can guarantee you what ever mistake may have been made, it wasn’t anything malicious. Take it from a 29 year patient. He always has the patients health and well-being #1 on his list. I’ll never go to another. When he retires I’ll have to just do everything he’s taught me all these years and make it on my own. We came to see Dr. Brink to evaluate my daughter who was growing very slowly, at age 11. Dr Brink met with us, took a very thorough medical history, did an exam and sent us for tests. He ruled out growth hormone deficiency and is currently working on monitoring my child for growth and development. We will continue to work with the physician and hopefully there will be progress.

Dr. Brink has been fantastic. He has been seeing two of my boys for over two years for short stature/growth hormone related issues. He is very patient with them (and me!) and takes the time to answer all of our questions. We have been very pleased with Dr. Brink.

Dr. Brink spends a lot of time with his patients. He has us tested before our appointment, we discuss it the day of the appointment, and then afterwards we get a 1-2 page write up of our health situation. We've rarely seen this in another health care provider.

Amazing teaching in 79 countries so far????????????????

My son has been a patient of Dr. Brink's for 25 years. He gets the best of care, and advice for changes that may be needed or adjusted for his diabetic care.

Been seeing Dr Brink since I was a kid. I cannot say enough good things about the care I have received. He is truly interested in your health and well being. I highly recommend.

I am shocked by the review that someone thought he molested her child. My daughter had a serious growth issue and Dr. Brink worked tirelessly to help identify what was wrong. Because of him we were able to get her medicine to help her grow. She is now 5'5" and in great health. My daughter was never with Dr Brink alone and in fact all of his exams were with me and another person in the room. Why would anyone leave their child while they were getting examined, alone? Dr Brink has been seeing my daughter for over a 2 years now and he has been great. He is well articulate and very good at diagnosing and breaking it down. He is very passionate at what he does and i think that is a big plus in terms of getting to the bottom of a problem and finding a solution. His secretary/nurse is fantastic and pleasant. Overall, our experience with this office has been great and will recommend him to anyone looking for an endocrinologist.

Dr. Brink has treated my son who was born with thyroid issues since birth and he has grown up into a healthy and strong young adult!! We have a great deal of confidence in Dr. Brink. He is a true professional in his field and extremely knowledgeable.

My daughter was found to have severe hypothyroidism at age 2 after fighting with her pcp to test her for abnormal under arm odor. We had seen numerous endocrine doctors throughout her childhood and finally found Dr. Brink who went above and beyond in his assessment and treatment. The office draws their own labs which used to be an issue for my daughter, but now at 13 she just walks right in by herself, sits down and feels secure when her blood is drawn! THANK YOU!

I was unclear why we were sent to Dr. Brink by our pediatrician. When we were done with our visit I completely understood and is glad to be getting the help I need to help my son have a healthy life.

Patient centric, understanding and talks to the patient about what needs to be done. My 10 year old felt that Dr. Brink is "very comfortable to be around". Explained everything to us in a way that was clear and easy to understand. Approached our son and explained everything to him so that he would have ownership of his care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brinks since I have been a year and a half old. He is one of the most important and caring people in my help with fighting diabetes. He is a class act and will do everything in his power to make sure you live a happy and healthy life.

Dr. Brink is an incredibly dedicated and devoted Endocrinologist. He cares and goes above and beyond his duties as a physician to see that his patients receive the best care. We are truly grateful for his determination to reach a diagnosis that all others skimmed over.
