Dr. Steven Rubinstein

@ MCAS PATIENTS!!! Dr. Rubinstein is the ONLY dr I've encountered in my 2+ years of MCAS diagnostic & treatment hell who is truly knowledgeable AND deeply competent. I've been in the worst flare in my life and was able to see him, and in one 30 minute appointment I left with a 7-8 step action plan for stabilization, 3-4 new rescue meds, initial treatment protocols with back-up plans if they don't work and back-up plans for the back-up plans. In the last month I have communicated with him nearly every single day on MyHealth, even weekends. His plan has allowed me to make big strides in stabilizing just in the last month. He's also the only doctor I've had who just believes me. E.G. I don't have to argue with him that I'm hypersensitive to meds or fillers; he just gets it. I don't have to fight to convince him I'm suffering. THE CATCH: He's retiring in March and on sabbatical thru Oct. BUT even just 1 appt with him has been huge for me, and he's still accepting new patients for now.

He really cares about his patients by taking time and listens to there concerns.

Dr. Rubinstein is an amazing allergist. Each time I go in, he takes the time to listen to my concerns, address them, offer a thorough exam to see what's going on and a comprehensive solution to my ailments. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Rubinstein is experienced, caring, patient, respectful, resourceful. Treats you (or my kids), like they're the only ones who matter. Explains at their level. When son's shots began hurting, respectfully problem-solved w/ him. Attends conferences, reads broadly, and knows a ton. Great w/ complex chronic conditions. Problem-solves carefully, resourcefully, collaboratively, even about uncommon cross-specialty conditions like PANS/PANDAS Busy (and often runs late), but so worth it.

It was my good fortune to become Dr Rubinstein's patient over 10 years ago. Not only does he focus on resolving any health and medical issues I may have, he also has an disposition that encourages a trusting and confident relationship. I have been so pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Rubinstien that I have referred others to him. He may well be my most favorite Dr., and I hope to continue my relationship with him for many more years.

He is the 3rd or 4th allergist Ive aeen over the years. HE IS THE BEST!!!
