Always treat me with respect and they show they really care. They don't ever make me feel judged or ashamed of my situation.

This is a great Dr. I felt like they really understood what I was going through and I didn't feel like I was being judged at all. They seen me for all the things I was having trouble with not just addiction. The whole staff was great and im glad that I found this team. Michael C.

This place is great, they are amazing and will help you if emergencies come up like if ur short 40$ if ur a good reliable established patient. Dr. Ritchie is so nice and I can’t enuf great things about the whole staff. Ann is grea and very welcoming.

Came in 30 mins before close and she tells me nobody is there to see me. Dr Ritchie is great but only accepting patients til 1p.m. is already hard enough for people to get in before 1.. And then leaving the office early?

Awesome doctor who really listens and cares for his patients

Most understanding doctor in Knoxville, they don’t beat u up for being an addict, they actually want to help you.

I would highly recommend seeing dr Ritchie!! Him and hikks staff are awesome people very respectfull & treat you as a normal human beings not just trash!! Plan on staying with R&R as long as possible!

Started going to this doctor year ago. The doctors are understanding and will help you get back on your feet. Also they will help you get a better job. This is the best recovery doctor office in the area.

My experience there was very nice and I have spent over a decade involved in rehabilitation centers. Also as the director of Mission Teens. But I do want to be absolutely clear, according to Tennessee lawmakers if you get stopped and have suboxone or are taking it (legally by prescription) you can and will be arrested for DUI. I was arrested and have spent over 15,000$ on lawyer fees to fight this. They are cracking down on addiction and have no sympathy for this disease. I am now looking at a DUI first offense at age 46 because I was approached by a police officer at a gas station while sitting in my car making a phone call. I was taking it as prescribed and ONLY that. Please be careful. DO NOT carry your prescription on you or in your car. Dr. Ritchie is wonderful. He really listens to his patients and tries to guide them into making good life choices. He acts as a friend and has no problems answering questions. The staff is excellent. Ann is very proficient and professional. She will move the patients along without making you feel rushed and unworthy.

Doctor Ritchie is an amazing doctor. He is very thorough and will answer any questions you have. He actually takes the time needed to ensure his patients success and well being. He truly cares and it shows. He treats you for everything, not just the addiction issues. He will also explain things to anyone you need him to, so they understand this disease and the recovery process it takes. He isn’t “money hungry” and has seen me many times and let me pay the next time I come in, he tries to help you out in any way he possibly can. He’s a great and kind hearted man. Dr. Boyd is another doctor there, and he is also very nice and caring. He does everything he can for his patients as well. Anne, the recpsonist is also nice and does her job well. She always has a friendly smiling face and answers the phones with such joy. She is a pleasure to encounter and isn’t rude or judgmental like a lot of other doctor offices. She is good at her job and does it very well. I owe so much to this amazing facility. I am far from over, but they all have helped me come a long way in my journey. Thank you so much Dr. Ritchie :)

The staff are very professional an the office is very clean. They understood I had to quit coming for 2 months an got me right back in within days. Dr. Ritchie understands addicts an knows what they go through an is very helpful.

Dr Ritchie doesn't try to treat just your addiction but you as a whole. He's the only doctor I could get to put me back on my bipolar medicine after I had my child I have been off of it for 2 years and felt like I was fixing to go completely crazy with it. So far i have been going to this dr. Office couple times, and i see several differences between this one and other suboxone doctors. One is Dr.Ritchie just dont write you and send you out the door, he actually takes the time to ask u how you are doing, and if there is anything else going on. Dr. Ritchie Steven has been the only doctor to actually explain things about my addiction to me and it make sense. He is very attentive and supportive. He honestly listens to what I have to say and doesn't pass judgment. He has helped me get my life back. For that, I am grateful.

I would rate higher than a 5 star if it were possible! Dr. Ritchie is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing! First he REALLY listens and the reason I know this is because every time I see him he asks me questions about what we previously talked about and doesn’t have to examine my file before doing so. I moved back to Tn after being out of the country for 3 years and due to laws changing it wasn’t an option to just go see any doctor and refill my pain medication and due to the fact that I have 2 young children and legit medical/pain issues I needed to do something! Suboxone seemed like the only real option; Dr. Ritchie explained how it works for pain and what opioids have been doing to my brain after so many years of use and he explained it in a way that made sense! I was able to get in for an appointment immediately and am so thankful that I did! I drive over an hour plus which isn’t always the easiest but I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I feel I am getting great care and am never rushed and never judged! The office is warm and comfortable and gives you the feeling of ease to relax and express yourself! Anne has been not only kind but very helpful and knowledgeable about pharmacy and prescription issues, that saved me a lot of money!
