Dr. Steven Earl Morris

Never again. I have seen Dr. Morris a few times, and each time with some level of unprofessionalism - but my last visit was the last straw. I have a physical disability and use a handicapped parking placard which was up for renewal requiring a physician's signature. I called Dr. Norris' office and was told he would not sign it remotely as he had not seen me in a few years. So I make an appointment for the following day, going in to get my renewal form signed. I went to the appointment and was seen by a student nurse and nurse practitioner. The latter informed me, as did the front desk, that the Dr. would not sign my forms unless I complete lab work and came back for another office visit. My disability is permanent, visible, and documented in my patient file. I asked again and was told no, I would have to come back for another visit (that the doctor would undoubtedly bill for). I was furious that I they had not told me that I would need 2 appointments when I first called. I called back after I left and spoke to the office manager. Halfway through the call, she informed me that Dr. Morris was listening in and agreed I would have to come back. I asked to speak with him, and he refused to get on the phone and discuss the matter with me himself, standing behind his office manager "shield." I explained how I thought it was unfair for them to refuse to sign my form, even though they know I meet the qualifications for the placard and they had all the information needed to sign. The office manager then informed me that she was hanging up on me, at the direction of Dr. Morris, and then did just that. While in the office, I heard other patients complaining about poor service from this office also. Other reviews you will read tell similar stories. If you need a doctor, go somewhere else. My family has been with him for many years. He is professional, caring and helped us in many bad situations.

I have been a patient for over fourteen months, Dr Morris has demonstrated extreme knowledge professionalism and compassion on a consistent basis. His genuine caring personality combined with his exceedingly high expertise has ultimately enhanced my quality of life. While my case is extremely complicated he has taken the time to analyze an accomoate each and every problem providing me with real direction to real solutions. Absolutely the WORST ! First visit saw him for 2 minutes, saw his assistant longer. Had test done, they did not call me I had to call them for results. I was told to come in. Saw the assistant AGAIN. Said everything was fine! Ordered more tests. I called again for results told to come in again. Saw the same woman/girl said all was fine. She had no answers for my problem and this doctor, AKA Dr. Morris was MIA. Fast forward, I am now being seen by a neurological doctor Who has diagnosed my problem and treatment may be surgery. Please don't go to this guy Morris.

My appointment was very professional on time and very informative about my blood work. In the 10 years I’ve been going to different doctors this is the first time I felt comfortable with his analysis of my test

This doctor and staff very professional. Appointment schedule always one-time. Refill my medication within 24 hours. This doctor actually listen to you..

I have been with clinic of Dr. Morris for a year. After a year of seeing Dr. Morris as my primary care doctor, he made my further appointments conditional... his stuff informed me over the phone that he will only make an appointment with me if I take at least 10 different blood tests. Most importantly, I’ve only learned this over the phone ????, this is not something that was made known to me at the time of my last appointment. I do not have any health issues besides anxiety and ADHD. However, I do have a demanding job, which leaves me with very little to no free time. Because of him making my further office visits conditional, I ran out of medications that are necessary to manage my anxiety and ADHD. I only wish I’ve learned that he does this to patients prior selecting him as my primary care doctor a year ago. Dr. Morris is quick and to the point, and very accurate with diagnosis and coming up with solutions

I don't understand all these bad reviews about his staff. I have found them to be very friendly, very professional, very responsive. When I need a refill, I call them, and my pharmacist receives the refill order within minutes! Same with referrals. If I were you, I would take these bad reviews with a grain of salt. People have all kinds of reasons for leaving bad reviews, not necessarily truthful.

I worked for this idiot. Sometimes you just have to acknowledge the universe makes a mistake. Dr. Morris is one of them. I will give him this, he does know "blood". Now, if his human self will introduce itself to the man in the flesh who knows.

Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid Dr. Morris, and his sloppy staff.

I was a patient of Dr Steven E Morris for 2+ years, but I can not recommend him. The office is disorganized, and difficult to work with. I will say he is a nice man, and considerate, but isn't able to run a office effectively.

Would not recommend this doctor. He is very rude and unprofessional.

I was a patient for 2+ years, but can not recommend Dr Morris. The office is disorganized, and not well run. I think he's a kind and compassionate person, but is not able to effectively run a office. Refilling my prescription was always a problem.

Dr Morris is kind, and friendly, but the office is disorganized, and I have problems getting refills. He also didn't follow up on some problems I mentioned with my ears on follow up appts. I can't recommend this doctor.

Dr Steve Morris is highly intelligent, he cares about his patients and he will listen to you. Give him a try.

Always positive...very considerate and conservative and really listens to what your real needs are.

Excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable, caring and patient. Spends lots of time with you and answers all of your questions. You couldn't ask for anything more in a Doctor. Will recommend him to anyone we know. Marilyn and Barry Hoffman

Had no interaction with him - only office staff who claimed to have sent forms twice that never materialized at an assisted living center as well as his nurse practitioner who waited until the very last minute to complete a simple state form to have our aunt admitted as a resident into this center. They couldn't have cared less about the stress we were under to move our aunt from a rehab facility ( where Dr. Morris saw her) to assisted living because we gave him the papers a week beforehand!
