Dr. Steven Roy Kanter

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Kanter. It was a relatively simple procedure, but nothing is simple during COVID. He exceeded all of my expectations and I would gladly recommend him!

I would have had Dr. Kanter do my surgery, but he was not going to be able to do it before I had to go on Medicare.

Dr K. has great beside manner, very soothing and forthcoming. He diagnosed my ailment very quickly and prescribed medications to eradicate the cause of it...Highly recommended!!!

Following surgery to remove a stone from my parotid gland, I developed a fistula which ran from the duct of the parotid plan to my cheek. Essentially, every time I ate, saliva would run fown the side of my face. Dr. Kantor had never treated this problem before. However, after a series of seven injections of hypertonic saline, my problem was solved. He went out of his way to do research and to help me. He transformed my life. After 6 weeks of having to pack gauze onto the side of my face every time I ate, I was finally well. He didn't seem to care much. You are just another check and your feeling and emotional state about the life threatening issue means nothing at all. The answer to most questions about my situation was "I don't know"

I had a breast nodule removed for biopsy, and the scar is barely visible. Dr. Kanter was awesome!

My Mom has had two life saving surgeries from this physician. I can't begin to tell you the attention my mom receives at this office.Dr.Kanter isn't just any physician, whenever you call he'll get on the line to speak to you in regards to your mother.That just doesn't happen these days with a specialist. If there where 10 STARS he'd receive them. He has to be the most ethical caring physician out there. Can't say enough about this Doctor. If you don't believe set up an appointment and you'll see. I've been seeing Dr. Kanter for many years being treated for intermittent claudication. His treatment, timely monitoring and advice has kept my requirement for surgery a non-issue. I have always found his staff very friendly and helpful. Yes, my appointments have run past scheduled time but his attention to his patients is the probable cause. Highly recommend. Worst office I have ever attended. The staff is extremely rude. Waiting time is over an hour past appointment times. I came for the removal of a cyst and staff called me 30 minutes before my procedure appointment to let me know what my deductible was going to be. Never received a call the day before to confirm my appointment. When I arrived to the building staff was completely clueless in regards to directions to the office. I would NOT recommend this doctor's office at all. Although the doctor himself was pleasant his staff left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst office I have ever attended. The staff is extremely rude.
