Dr. Steven C. Jacks

Third oral surgeon that I have seen. He was the best. Explained everything, showed me my xrays. My dentist had place two dental implant in bad position and put one in my sinus. Dr. Jacks had to remove these and fix everything. He did a great job. thanks

Spent time explaining options and risks at the consultation. Explained my insurance coverage. Surgical experience was great. No one want to have oral surgery but he really makes the experience go a smooth and stress free as possible.

My dentist had previously done surgery on me. It was rough and a lot of pain afterwards. This time my dentist said the surgery would be difficult and I needed to see a specialist. I saw Dr. Jacks. It was easy. What a difference. I will never have a dentist do surgery on me. I will always go to a specialist and that would be Dr. Jacks

My dentist recommended another dentist in their office to remove my daughters third molars. I talked to my cousin who is an oral surgeon in Florida. She told me that family dentists who remove teeth part time don't have much training in sedation, can't use the same medicines, and their patients have more swelling, more infections, more pain, more complications and the surgery takes longer cause they just aren't as experienced. I'm glad we went to Dr. Jacks. He explained everything well. Crazy thing was my dentist was even more expensive than a specialist. Who would think you go to a specialist and save money. Go to a specialist. thanks to my cousin for her advice! :)

My elderly father had to see him for surgery. Dr. Jacks spoke with his doctors and provided information about the best option for my father. It was a wonderful experience and I am thankful I took my father to see Dr. Jacks

Our family had a great experience. My daughter and now my elderly mother have been to see Dr. Jacks. He went thru all of my mom's health history and even contacted her physicians to make sure he had all the updated information. My hygienist took her family to see Dr. Jacks too. I highly recommend Jacks Oral Surgery. They were very informative, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process of my wisdom teeth removal. This was my first procedure requiring anesthesia; this was most concerning, however they are very accommodating and answered all my questions. I quickly found that the entire staff is friendly and has a positive attitude, which put my mind at ease. The procedure went smooth and they provide ample information for post procedure recovery. I’m very happy I chose Jacks Oral Surgery and you will too!

I highly recommend Dr. Jacks and the entire staff. Yesterday I had a wisdom tooth removed. Today I have no swelling or bruising and I have had no need for pain meds. They all are awesome!

I was very anxious & blood pressure was high. Dr Jacks & staff just took plenty of time to give me time to settle down. They didn’t rush at all. Dr explained everything as the procedure was happening. He was very gentle & professional. I had a root canal that got infected & had to be extracted! I would recommend him & his staff to anyone I talk to. They were all wonderful!

My son has had a minor heart murmur since he was two. He is twenty years old and is getting braces, wisdom teeth pulled and a jaw reconstruction that would be completed by the end of the year. The office scheduled him and said they needed a clearance letter from our doctor. We called the doctor, and told them to call us if they didn't receive it. They said today that they hadn't got it and Dr jacks changed his mind and cancelled even if we brought it to them in person. They said its our fault.

He has done work on all four of my kids. Always been an excellent experience. I highly recommend their office.

I have had surgery done at his office on two different occasions over the past several years. He has always made my visits pleasant, answers my questions and explains things very well. He does a much better job of explaining everything than the dentist that sent me there

Several nurses that I work with recommended Dr. Jacks. They told me he is very good and very nice. I had him place several implants which was so much better than a previous implant surgery that I had at another office. I was really impressed and then had to take my son to have him wisdom teeth removed. He did very well and he really enjoyed talking with Dr. Jacks. Would recommend him to others.

Dr. Jacks explained everything about my surgery, answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable having the surgery.

Dr. Jacks is a very down to earth guy. Easy to talk with about your issues. He explains everything in terms anyone can understand. I learned a lot. Did great work.

I have seen Dr Jacks twice and like him a lot. Unfortunately, my dentist refers to someone else and his office won't schedule me. Sad the patient suffers. I would recommend him to anyone fortunate enough to use his services.

Our family was sent to another oral surgeon in Troy and experienced long waits, staff that treated us like a number. The surgeon was stiff, stand offish and it was unpleasant to interact with him. Some friends of ours recommended we take our daughter to Dr. Jacks. It was the first doctor's office we have been to where we were treated as a friend. He and his staff spent time with us, explained everything and made our daughter laugh and took away a lot of her anxiety.

We went to another surgeon for a consult and had a poor experience. We then went to see Dr Jacks for a second opinion and felt very comfortable with him and confident in his knowledge. He made our daughter feel at ease.

Dr. Jacks was very nice and answered all my questions. I was really nervous but he and his nurse made me feel much better. Definitely will tell my friends if they have to have oral surgery, go see Dr. Jacks

I had a wonderful experience at their office. I am normally very apprehensive at the dentist but they got me thru the entire thing. Very nice staff. Dr. Jacks spent time and made me feel comfortable.

Great staff, great doctor. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Drove 45 minutes and past another oral surgeon's office just to see him. The drive is worth it.

Great doctor and a great person. We have had only outstanding experiences with Dr Jacks and his whole staff. He's very gentle and just seems to be a really genuine person. Several of our friends teenagers have been there and they loved him. He always seems to run ahead of schedule.

Three members of our family and several friends of ours have been to Dr. Jacks. His staff is very pleasant and helpful. He has explains things well and makes his patient's very comfortable. He is gentle and we have heard nothing but good things about him. A friend of mine had an emergency. She saw her dentist who called Dr. Jacks. Dr. Jacks stayed late and waited for her and took care of her that night after hours. She was amazed at how nice he was and how simple he made the surgery.

He has worked on several members of our family and several healthcare coworkers from our hospital. As someone in the healthcare field, I would recommend him without hesitation. Their office gets us seated quickly and answers all of our questions. Front office is a pleasure to work with.

It takes to long to get an appointment and they don't seem to care about the patient and the pain they are in.
