I became my mother's driver for her appointments. I also was her advocate and caretaker to make sure mother did have the best care possible. I often spoke up to make sure mother was heard. Mother's big complaint had been the pain in her knees. As the Dr stated many times there was nothing else that could be done except physical therapy. I even tried getting mother to take up physical therapy for her knees. But she would insist that she could not bear any more pain. We moved to a different area in WA. State. Her new Dr (Kaiser) sent her to a specialist right away for her knee pain. This Dr stated that mother needed knee replacement surgery. Unfortunately, mother was older and weaker, and this surgery was not possible. I regret not asking for a second opinion years earlier. I have often wondered if mother had knee replacement surgery, if her late years would be pain free. Mother love Dr Burrow as her Dr and loved see photos of his precious daughte, as mother had five children herself.

After losing all confidence and faith in my current primary provider (who is NEVER available!) at Kaiser/Washington, I contacted Kaiser, twice, because I had just gotten two positive COVID test results. Dr, Burrows (covering for my primary) was the doc who came to my rescue, quickly assessed the situation and told me exactly what I needed to do. I immediately followed his recommendations (they have a system for rapid response) and quickly found the help and medication I needed. Within 2 hours of Dr. Burrows initial response, I received another follow-up from him to make sure I was able to get the best, fastest and most helpful care I needed. I am grateful to this physician for his attentiveness, compassion, quick recommendations and considerate follow-ups, especially in this time where a positive COVID diagnosis can be quite frightening.

Sreven Burrows is very likely the best doctor I have ever had and as cared for me for close to 15 years. He and my healthcare team brought me back from the brink of death at least two times and restored my confidence in living a full life. He is extremely smart, can answer any question I have with in-depth knowledge off the top of his head, rarely does he need to look up an answer but when he does he researches it fully and gets back to me immediately. He is very personable, friendly yet professional and has a winning smile. Above all it is clearly evident he cares for his patients. I could not have had a better physician to look after and look out for me than Steve Burrows.

Always treated with dignity and respect and compassion. Very knowledgeable and competent. Best doctor I've ever had.
