Not only is the care team super supportive but they also are always there when you need them. They work closely with you to ensure you get the care you need. I 100% recommend Dr. Nakamura and his care team to anyone looking for a psychiatric team who cares! :)

Initially the experience was very good as they were super careful and treated me and cured me I am thankful for that. But the advice that they gave us after that lead us to relapse second time.We expected that atleast the advice would have been correct.

Never responding to me or the life insurance company regarding the request for medical records. Every time I called, his assistant said they would fax the required documents but they never did. They don’t care about you if you are no longer their patient whom they make money from.

Dr. N is absolutely the best. Got the right meds, right off the bat and I am back on track. Really nice guy and a great office staff. I have only great things to say about them.

Horrible experience with staff. But once the doctor learn about it he fixed the issue in no time. He was very understanding and accessible. Very careful administrating dosages and available when needed. definitely my choice from now on and indication for friends.

Dr. Nakamaura and his staff exceed 5 stars. I began working with him and Lee (his PA) after my previous psychiatrist dumped me because I’m too complicated. I’ve seen many psychiatrists and I plan to stay with with him and his team. Not only are him and Lee responsive to my concerns, but they have transformed my life for the better. They are both very knowledgeable and have a calm, yet personable personality. Dr. Nakamaura’s reputation among other medical professionals is well known too, as I feel like doctors in other fields know of him in a positive way. Not to mention, the transition to video visits during the Pandemic has been seamless and I feel that I’m still getting the best care. He also takes my insurance and I have had no problems with organized billing that makes everything easy for me. Making appointments is also easy and Tara is very responsive to emails! 100% Recommend.

Went to see him. He spent the whole time distracted, expressed no interest in my actual life, and had me out the door as soon as he could. I was so put off I immediately switched doctors.

Unfortunate experience with fairly rude/careless staff. I called to inquire about new patient admittance, the staff inquired about the condition to be treated. I stated a condition which was listed as included in Dr. Nakamura's expertise and the staff stated that treating that condition was too much paperwork for an existing short term disability claim. I stated that my prior provider has handled the necessary paperwork and none would be required of Dr. Nakamura. She stated again that it was a lot of paperwork and I should talk to someone else. I clarified my prior statement that it wouldn't be require. To this, she responded that they just aren't accepting new patients. Excellent doctor! No question, the best I have worked with, and I have seen quite a few in my day :-). Everything is straight forward with clear explanations to what medication we are using and why. In past I have had some other doctors strong-arm me with meds, but never a problem here. I am definitely heard. Plus when any problems come up I can easily get in there asap. Easy choice here. I am very happy with this doctor. I was treated very well by everyone at the office and always look forward to my appointments. The medications that the doctor Nakamura prescribe are very helpful. There are never any problems getting a hold of someone and it is nice that he is on my insurance too. It was hard to find the office the first time but that wasn't a problem at the next visits and the office is nice and comfortable. I have a family member that goes here too and she is happy with her visits as well. I am very happy with this doctor. Dr. Nakamura’s guidance got me from rocket bottom seven years ago, to feeling he best I’ve felt in my life in the seven years I’ve worked with him. Along with being a brilliant psychiatrist with an encyclopedic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, he’s an exceptional credit to the human race. Unlike many of the impersonal, sort of boilerplate doctors I’ve had in years past, Dr. Nakamura truly cares amd consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that my mental health is maintained. I have little doubt that this man has saved me from death, so I’ll never truly be able to repay the exceptional care he provided to get me back on track. I’d be remiss to leave out the rest of the staff. “Lee,” and an incredible person who is totally non-judgmental and a purveyor of invaluable life coaching. “Judson,” is terrific and “Jeanie,” is always on top of things. He was really a great doctor. Quiet and friendly; makes you feel comfortable and welcome. He is one of a kind and fights for the best medications for us and thinks outside the box and really cares more than most psychiatrists these days. He helped me personally grow and achieve at levels that I would not have been able to achieve without his help. Thanks, Dr. Nakamura.

Excellent Psychiatrist! I have been following here for a few years and am always happy with his advice on medications and more. Definitely a good choice here.

I’ve been seeing Doctor Nakamura since 2011, and he’s been there for me without fail, helping me battle against various mental health issues. Whether facing off against unseemly insurance companies looking to avoid covering my prescriptions or providimg invaluable therapy and advice, it’s not hyperbole to posit that he has saved my life and helped me become a better person. His otherworldly staff, including “Lee,” “Judson,” and “Jeanie,” are also great people. “Lee,” is truly a.m. rockstar.

Complete waste of time and money. Always late. No therapeutic value at all. Very loosely run group "therapy" without boundaries or goals.
