I am a nurse and after a fall broke my dominant wrist. I did not start out with Dr Scarangella though switched during my workman’s comp case. I do wish I had started out with him and know my course would’ve gone differently. He, his assistant and staff are pleasant, considerate and meet you where you are to formulate the best plan of care available. Would only recommend him to anyone, including my own patients!

I have had several visits and would recommend him.

Dr. Scarangella was kind, thorough and resolved my rotator cuff/bicep injuries with surgery. I give him my highest recommendation.

Always treated with respect and kindness by staff and doctor

In February 2002 while in line skating, I broke my right wrist. Dr Scarangella was awesome and so was his team. Eventually I’d even forget it had been broken. Fast forward to September 2022. I fell and broke the same wrist. I was so happy to find Dr Scarangella still practiced. Once again he’s done an excellent job. He and his team treat with caring and dignity. I recommend him highly. After all, I’m a repeat customer! Thank you Dr Scarangella!

As always, Dr. Scarangella was thorough, kind and knowledgeable. He has been helpful to me in my recovery and I totally trust him. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Very good doc. Listens and is concerned and helpful. Will not hesitate to return when I need an ortho guy. The staff is also very friendly, attentive and helpful.

I broke my wrist in February and googled orthopedic urgent care. I saw this practice had a great reading so I went to the Manchester office where I dealt with PA named Mark. He was awesome and then the following week I had an appointment with Dr. Scarangella who was very nice never pressured me to get surgery. He gave me the option if I wanted to try to heal my broken wrist on its own. He gave me a list of the pros and cons of what might happen and about how long it would take. I went with the surgery, I had a great experience at the surgical center. I can only say nice things about this doctor and the staff that attended to me.

I would highly recommend Dr Scarangella. He is very thorough and explaining my condition and treating it.

I has a massive rotator cuff tear repaired in Oct 2021. Dr. Scarengella was excellent. He explained everything completely, answered all my questions and gave excellent care before, during and after my procedure. Everything went extremely well and I would go back to this office anytime. As an RN who spent quite a few years working in the Operating Room, I know what’s what in these matters. His PA Allison is wonderful as well. Absolutely no complaints.

Dr. Scarangella is great. I wouldn’t consider going to any other ortho doctor.

Great Doc, PA’s were super, office staff very helpful - 3 surgeries, little recovery pain. Success!

I had a distal radius fracture that required plates and screws. Dr. S explained everything and the surgery was very successful. I am grateful for him and his staff for the dedicated professionals that they are. My recovery has been easy thanks to them.

Always excellent care

Excellent surgeon. Listens attentively and respectfully. I never felt rushed during a visit. His staff managed pre Operative scheduling details smoothly during the pandemic. He referred me to a great hand therapist and kept in contact with her to monitor my progress.

Over the years I had developed bone spurs that had weakened my rotator cuff and after a fall I required surgery. Due to the way my insurance company handled my condition I didn’t receive surgery until 6 months after the injury. As a life long athlete in my 50s I can tell you that it was a very trying experience staying away from the activities that bring peace and keep me grounded. Dr Scarangella’s expertise has restored my shoulder to a state that is better than prior to the accident. I don’t generally give reviews but I feel obligated to give him due credit. Thank you sir for restoring my quality of life.

Worst Doctor I ever saw. I wish I could include a picture of my finger he butchered. Went to Doctor Watson in Glastonbury to fix. Surprisingly he threw Scarengella under the bus and said he botched my surgery.

Dr. Scarangella is a great combination of medical and surgical expertise as well as being an excellent communicator with patience to serve every patient in a super caring way. He has helped me and other family members and I would recommend him to anyone.

2 hour surgery turned into 6 he put 18 inches of plate into my arm and what feels like a millions screws. I stayed positive that it’s get better like he said but I’ve been in pain for 5 years and haven’t seen him sense COVID now the hardware needs to go getting sick and tired of throwing up cause it makes me nauseous... oh yea my arm is has no pronation or supernation also idk I was told he was the best but my arm is telling me otherwise I wouldn’t have had to make this review if they could have scheduled me with a close and reasonable appointment a month is to long to wait when work has been unbearable but I’d suggest going to someone else

The doctor was attentive,felt like he was listening to me.Hope that should I need treatment in the future,that I will have a positive experience.

Fractured wrist. Was able to get in the next day. Dr Scarangellla explained the injury and scheduled a follow up. He listened to my insurance concerns. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and caring.

Dr. Scarangella took the time to answer my questions and put me at ease about how my ulnar nerve issue would be addressed.

Dr. Scarangella gave me my hands back. I had Dupuytrens Contracture in both hands. He explained how he was going to treat the problem and everything went as planned. He did a great job. He and his staff were all very professional and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend him.

Just had hand surgery on the 1st of October and still some time to go on healing but wanted to add a nice review. This doctor is very nice and kind!!! The staff is awesome!!! They receive so much paperwork everyday and get it done. If there is a problem with anything they take care of it, patient with the patients lol cuz some of us are brats!! Again appreciate the care. Keep up the great work guys!!!

After suffering a crushing injury to my fingers I saw another orthopedic doctor who only looked at x-rays and outside healing. I saw Dr. Scarangella for a second opinion and it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. He checked the x-rays and had me move my fingers for range of motion. He explained the nerve and tendon issues and within 3 days had me enrolled in occupational therapy. The therapy has given me back some of my range of motion. Dr. Scarangella has always listened to my concerns and input. He explains everything plainly and concisely and truly cares about my recovery. I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering injuries to their hands.

Dr. Scarangella listened to what i said and answered all of my questions. I did not feel rushed. I would recommend him for any ortho needs.

I had shoulder surgery in 1/20 and after 3 months physical therapy completed. I was dismissed by the doctor with severe pain and a major deficit in my left arm. I am now a lot worse than before the surgery. Yet I was rudely dismissed and in severe pain. He broke me badly but refuses to try and fix me. I am very upset and unhappy!

Dr. Scarangella has been a trusted medical professional throughout my entire experience. He and his entire team have worked hard to assist me through referrals, LOA paperwork, TDI paperwork, and more. His reliable staff has been there to answer any questions I might have had, and they remain just as dedicated today as they were from day 1.

He took care of me since day one

Definitely recommend. Received care from both Manchester and Windham locations. Staff was very pleasant. I had a good experience with Dr Scarangella. He was my surgeon, and he just released me to go back to work. We know my shoulder is still having a bit of trouble, but I can function. Nevertheless, he said if I experience trouble in the future to call him and he will do a reassessment.

I felt like going to see Dr. Scarangella was a waste of time. He basically told me he had no idea what was wrong and sent me to a specialist. I was charged 268 dollars to be sent to another place to pay another 300 plus.

I had both my carpel tunnel surgeries done by Scarengella and it was the best decision ever.

Dr Scarangella is the nicest surgeon & he really listens. I am still seeing him for a tibial tendon issue that is ongoing. I googled ANKLE doctors and he popped up & they called me back when nobody else would. The technician at UCONN/Storrs, that did my EMG study was wondering why he took me as a patient, because its not listed as anything he specializes in. I am going backwards right now. PT did not help, then I had a steroid injection, and it actually weakened the tendons arounnd my entire ankle, and it is collapsing. I cannot find one website that encourages injections for this injury. I am on crutches and can't get in for another 3 weeks. I really like him, but right now, I am unable to walk at all. My EMG study came back abnormal in 3 area's. I am growing frustrated and depressed. Dr Scarangella is the nicest surgeon & he really listens. Very knowledgeable and courteous.

Very professional and very easy to speak with. An excellent and empathetic physician.

Dr. Scarangela and his staff are wonderful, caring and very focused on the patient's well-being.

His entire team and office staff are really Great to deal with. They stay on top of everything and follow through with anything you need. Dr. Scarangello operated on my hand and his follow up and care were Over the Top!!

A very conscientious and approachable Dr., that treats the patient not the injury. Awful! I have a workers comp injury. He does not listen and released me to go back to work with one hand. My hand is still unable to function.

Took care of my daughter, son, wife, mother, and myself. Very kind, knowledgable, humble, and a great surgeon.

Dr. Scarangella was great with my 3 yr old son. He was very professional and very friendly. My son was shy but Dr. Scarangella was so nice that he warmed up to him quickly. His staff was very professional and his office was clean and well organized. My son loved the fish tank. I would definitely see Dr. Scarangella again.

Dr. Scarangella performed surgery on my husband's hand which he had issues with for a long time. Quick recovery and hand is no longer in pain. Great surgeon who listens and cares.

Love the doctor, but very difficult to wait 90 minutes to be seen on more than one occasion. Plan to spend at least an hour waiting for 10 minutes with the doctor. Other than that he is wonderful. Office staff not organized.
