Dr Poore is truly a amazing doctor. I had been in Europe and I had some un explain issues and I return to the US. I could been scheduled for surgery quick enough. I had friends in Lakewood Washington that encouraged me to see if I could get a appointment sooner in the northwest. I was lucky and fortunate to get dr Stephen Poore. I was amazed with dr Poores patients and caring attitude. No rushing you through like some doctors. He listen and explain everything in detail. I had surgery and in less then a week I felt much better. Thank God for dr Poore and his staff. Truly blessed to met dr Poore. I highly recommend him!

I am a medical student who recently did a 4 week rotation with Dr. Poore. Although he does not normally take medical students he provided me with one of the best experiences in medical school. He has proved to be one of the most caring and compassionate providers I have worked with. He treats each patient with respect and understanding, provides them with excellent care, and if additional intervention is needed he carefully explains options to his patients starting with the least invasive. He provides each patient with a careful explanation and summary during their appointment, and I don’t think a single patient left not knowing if there were any next steps to complete. His office staff is also incredible, so helpful and have a strong understanding of GYN care.

After my long time gynecologist retired I was referred to Dr Poore. Without hesitation I can say “lucky me!”. I had been fighting numerous infections due to mesh erosion for years, Dr Poore, diagnosed the problem , ordered confirming tests and then referred me to Dr Clemons for further diagnosis with lead to surgery on December 3rd. My quality of life is now immensely improved— thank you Dr Poore—

Dr. Poore, in spite of no longer practicing obstetrics at the clinic and never having met me before, took the initiative to have me expediently come in to see him due to concerns I have had during my early pregnancy. He was so kind and really made me feel valued as a patient. He was very proactive and helpful in getting me the utmost care. He even came to reception with me to advocate for my scheduling needs. It really made me feel that he puts his client first and genuinely cares for them.

Simply amazing!!! I switched to him from a bad experience with a female OBGYN. Dr. Poore was sooo calm, comforting and informative from the beginning. He really seems to listen and believe what you tell him about your condition. He remembers specific details about you. His voice is so calming and soothing my bf always falls asleep in the room with me lol. He performed a pelvic exam and surgery on me and did an amazing job. I’d recommend him to anyone I know!

Dr Poore was an amazing man to deliver with. He was always kind and professional. My kids are now 8 and 6 and im having my last child now with a different Dr and it made me realize how lucky i was with my first two.

I was a 30 weeker premi that Dr. Poore delivered at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in 1988. Now not much taller but a successful, healthy nurse practitioner with a daughter. I love Dr.Poore! Very approachable, kind, professional and knowledgeable man. He sat and talked with and and answered my questions. He didn't judge me or make me uncomfortable. I felt like I could sit with him for hours and go over all my health goals and plans! His staff is very warm and proactive. They sent me a welcome packet with paperwork to be filled out way in advance of my appointment. The waiting room is inviting and comforting. I really enjoyed my visit!

He was my ob/gyn for 8 years before I had my daughter and is still my doctor today (my daughter is 10)and couldn't have asked for a more professional, compassionate and all around caring doctor. Going to "those" type of appointments are never easy but I was always at ease when I was there. I definitely would recommend this doctor for anyone looking for an outstanding professional.

Very knowledgeable, gave positive suggestions for my care. Will continue my care with his office.
