This is the worst place I’ve ever go to I wouldn’t go there if I was dying anymore they call me Up tell me I’m eligible through my VA I get down here wait and wait and then these M-F tell me that they don’t take the VA anymore all veterans should boycott this place and any doctors that practice is out of here

He fixed my broken wrist. Great surgeon

I am a 62 yo female who broke her wrist playing pickleball. I have had the most excellent and caring care. Dr O Connelly, his PA Andrew Allen, and DOC OT, have taken me through a severely broken wrist to a speedy recovery. I am just 6 weeks post op and am moving very well. A few more weeks and I will be back at pickleball, hiking, biking, swimming, water all and much more. I am already back at some of it. The kind attention that Andrew Allen gives is amazing. He explains everything so well and with compassion. Dr. O Connelly is a skilled surgeon that I highly recommend. The entire staff, from every front desk person, to the well qualified Occupational Therapists have played a part in this rave review. I am quite happy. I will certainly use them again, hoping I don't need to though, and highly recommend them to everyone.

DR. O'Connell has been providing medical assistance for me for over 10 years. I am a paraplegic and wheelchair user and his care and sensitivity to my challenges has been outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. O'Connell without reservation. He is excellent.

My first visit with Stephen O'Connell was a pre-surgical consultation prior to rotator cuff surgery. Dr. O'Connell was very patient, informative, attentive, answered questions that I had beyond my satisfaction. After my initial visit, I knew that I was in good hands for my forthcoming surgery. My surgery was smooth sailing. Dr. O'Connell and Andrew Allen, PA, were excellent with my post-surgery follow up visits and recommendations as to my recovery. I am obviously still healing after 6 months, but doing extremely well. I am more than grateful for Dr. Stephen O'Connell, Andrew Allen, PA, and staff - everyone involved.

From the first visit last year to the recent visit, he change his mind on which surgery he wanted to perform - from less invasive to more invasive. ??? He never told me the names of either. The wait time was 55 minutes after my scheduled appointment time; no apology, no excuse other than "I'm busy". I've decided to hold off until I get another opinion.

The Care and sevice for my fracture wrist and surgery was exceptional. Highly recommend Dr. O'connell and his staff.

Perfect experience. From check in to exam to surgery. I’ve had no problems after surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. O’Connell at Desert Orthopedic.

Dr O’Connell & Dr Allen are My Hero’s they were able to repair my hand that a dog I was watching destroyed. I am able to use my hand again and I am FOREVER GRATEFUL to these Amazing DRs .????Patricia

I had wrist surgery several years ago performed by Dr. O'Connell. I have had no problems since. I wouldn't think of going to anyone else for wrist hand or arm surgery. He's the best!

Light years ahead of any other hand Doctors in the valley! Fixed my hand perfectly!!! Cant wait to get the 2nd procedure done on other hand!
