Dr. Maniscalco repaired my husbands aneurysm below the kidney through the groin and while he was operating, he found two surprised he was not expecting. He saw that both the renal arteries were blocked that the scan did not detect. He put a stent in and said now his blood pressure and kidney function should go back to normal numbers after dealing with BP and kidneys for years. He is the best! I would HIGHLY recommend him!

He saved my life with an emergency CABG procedure. It was a complicated procedure that he performed extremely well. I am a retired physician who cannot think of enough good things to say about him and his superb surgical technique! Both he and his office staff and very professional and easy to communicate with. I am going to get a vascular procedure on my carotid artery done in a few weeks and I trust him completely!

No other doctor would take the time and look me over to see what can be done to my heart, Dr Mani stepped up and fixed my heart, I feel like a million bucks minus the pain, he is and always will be number 1 in my opinion. I had a quadruple bypass

I had open heart surgery to correct an anuerism and replace my aortic value. "Dr. Manny" does outstanding work! If I had to have surgery again I would definitely want him. He and his entire staff are professional and top notch.

I am 73 years old and was trying to get some that my new puppy had. When she stopped and just looked at me. I knew there was something wrong. So did my sweet little Chloe my new pug puppy. I mediately knew I had to call 911. Dr. Maniscalco was my doctor in the hospital. I had 3 blockages. He did surgery and I'm healing very well today. I thank Dr. Maniscalco for saving my life. Dr. Maniscalco is a Christ-follower & very confident & brilliant Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon without being arrogant or narcissistic. He accepted me as a patient when all other surgeons feared I would die on their table, including my 1st surgeon from 11 years ago, & rejected me. I was also thrown under the bus by all cardiologists. So, my brilliant PCP, Dr. Robert Jeremy Laningham, also a Christ-follower, sent me directly to Dr. Stephen P. Maniscalco & before he saved my life, he prayed with me. Before this second by-pass, I felt like the "walking dead" because I was just that. This Thanksgiving 2021, & for the rest of my life, I thank God for Dr. Stephen Maniscalco & Dr. Robert Jeremy Laningham! & thank you both Dr.'s Robert Jeremy Laningham & Stephen P. Maniscalco. I intend on being a walking, dancing, living testimony of JOY because of ya'll PTL PTL!!!

My husband had 6 bypasses, valve replacement, valve ablation, and heart wall ablation. Dr. Mani was kind, compassionate, and forthcoming. I would recommend him to do ANY surgery, especially the complex ones. He was born to do surgery humbly and with excellence. We simply cannot thank he and his wonderful staff enough during our stressful time.

Dr. Maniscalco is professional, has a good bedside manner and is prepared to see his patients. Nurses from other organizations recommended him over the cardiovascular surgeon at their facility. They recommended Dr. Maniscalco because he has great attention to detail, care of the patients, skills and is attentive to his patients. After my visit with Dr. Maniscalco, my fears were lessened and trust was developed. The day of surgery, the pre-op and anesthesia staff only had wonderful things to say about Dr. Maniscalco. After a successful surgery, I am very grateful for Dr. Maniscalco. During the post-surgery visit he answered all my questions and more. I would recommend him to others. Worked to repair/replace brachial artery that had been damaged by gunshot wound. Worked on me 23 times to get things right. Couldn't have asked for a better man or surgeon. The best of the best in my book!

I've had six radio-frequency ablations (catheter) for afib previously and two cardio-versions--all failed. Dr. Manny specializes in thoracic surgery and enjoys an excellent reputation. My husband met Dr. Maniscalco in ICU. He gave answers to our questions and great advice for the coronary bypass surgery. Came highly recommend by everyone we talked to (not kidding). He didn't disappoint. We feel blessed to have him and would recommend him to our closest family and friends. Thank you Dr. Mani!

Dr. Maniscalco is an amazing surgeon. He replaced my Aortic valve without cracking open my chest! He used a 3 1/2 inch opening in the top of my chest along with an opening in my groin to do the job. I was in the hospital 3 1/2 days and didn't need but 3 pain pills after I got home. I was back at work 1 week after my surgery. Dr. Maniscalco & his staff were all friendly & professional, answering all of my many questions. They didn't even get upset that I was Mooing at them.

Dr. Manny performed a Quadruple Bypass on me in March 2018. I really appreciated his honesty and integrity in performing this surgery. He was very upfront with what was going to happen, as well as what to expect afterward.

Dr. Maniscalco performed surgery on my husband's heart and we were so very pleased with the care and concern. He is a very caring and competent surgeon and takes his time to explain everything and his follow up after surgery was excellent. We so appreciate all he did and feel blessed to have found him.

Dr. Maniscalco met me in ICU when my LAD artery blockage couldn't be opened. He explained to me in layman's terms that a single bypass was the only option and that he would be using an artery from my heart to perform the bypass as this would be the best long-term solution. He offered to answer all of my questions (and my wife's) every time he came in to check on me during the week before my surgery. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Maniscalco and seek him again in the future if needed.

Dr Manny is unbelievable.....works all hours of the night, and all the staff whisper to you...."he is the man you want over you on the table" He walks the halls at 3-4am in the morning checking on his patients when all others are long gone. Dr. Maniscalco, Dr. Manny as he's known, is one of the kindest, hardest working and very down to earth Doctors I have ever been blessed to have been treated by. If I had not been treated by him or someone of equal knowledge and talent. I probably would not have survived. God Bless you and your family Dr Manny !!!

Dr. Mani operated on a carotid artery less than 3 weeks ago. There was severe blockage. Surgery was a complete success and he has skill and patience to answer all questions. There have been no problems in recovery and I highly recommend his practice .

Very dedicated and skilled surgeon. My husband had open heart surgery on March 14, 2018. This doctor came to check on my husband every day; even on Sunday's. My husband was in ICU for 11 days. We were truly Blessed to have Dr Maniscalco perform his surgery! I would recommend him to anybody. He truly cares about his patients!!!

My cardiologist secured the services of Dr. Maniscalco after I suffered cardiac arrest in January 2016. I could not be more satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Maniscalco & his team. To say I'm very satisfied is an understatement! It's 465 days later & I made a near complete recovery - remarkable when I think how close I was to not making it. While I give God & the prayers of other caring persons much credit for my healing, I also thank Dr. Maniscalco's help in answering those prayers!

very cold, and rude! Did my surgery only to find out 3 weeks later his procedure did not work, and will have to have another surgery to undo what he did and correctly fix the problem!!

We were referred to Dr. Mani while at the hospital, my Mom had a heart attack in the middle of the night.We were told she immediately needed surgery and Dr. Mani would perform the bypass.HE WAS UNBELIEVEABLY REMARKABLE!!! We are med center people and everyone at the hospital told us we would want this group.They did not mislead us.He gave my Mom the BEST care and kept us informed, his bedside manner was fantastic. I can't believe it, but we are his biggest fans!! Thank you Dr. Mani!

He did a bypass and new heart valve . It was 3:00am when I was brought to kingwood hospital with s heart failure in process .Dr maniscalo had just completed a heart surgery operation. But he and his medical crew stayed over and did mine also.. I am truly thankful to him and staff. Danny Kilpatrick ( POP)

I had a fistula put in with Dr. Mani last month. He was kind and had decent bedside manner, the surgery went well, but the after care is absolutely awful. It took TWELVE calls for me to get through to make my two week follow-up appointment because they only have one receptionist for the whole practice and when we told him about it when we finally did get in, he made excuses about it, saying it was due to providing insurance and being able to keep help. He wasn't very concerned.
