If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible staff and no social distancing in waiting room. In two hrs I never saw anything cleaned even though numerous patients came and went. I arrived 15 mins early. They had me wait 2hrs in waiting room for appt. After speaking to other patients in waiting room I was told this is routine. I will never go back. Find another dr.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We had an 8 am appointment. At 8:30 there were 4 other patients in the waiting room and the "Doctor" still had not arrived. His RUDE staff WHO WERE NOT wearing masks (even though they have a sign posted requiring them) had no idea when he was coming and suggested that he might be stuck in traffic somewhere and one even joked that "if she had the diploma she'd take a look". This was ONE OF the worst experiences we have ever had with a doctor. JUST AWFUL.

My husband needed to see a vascular doctor - hes diabetic and is having swelling issues. This doctor is the only one in my area who takes my insurance. We attempted to go once during prime COVID time and waited well over 1/2 hour & probably would have waited longer but opted to leave because the waiting room was tiny and fully packed - no social distancing. We attempted again today only to be told of the wrong Suite (could not remember which one) and then over 1/2 hour later found the correct one - spoke only to the call center in California - could not speak to an actual person at the Suffern location - my husband was put at the end of the line because he was late due to misinformation given by the office and was not treated with professionalism. Now I have to try to locate another doctor and travel out of my area. If this is how we are treated just trying to become a patient then how are the actual patients treated. Knowledge, expert surgeon with friendly personality. He listens, unlike some surgeons.

Drove an hour south to visit clinic. Saw three "receptionists" chatting away, one sort of did work. Took my license and medical card, told me to have a seat. WARNING: THE SUFERN OFFICE DOES NOT PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING NOR DISINFECTION OF THE SMALL WAITING ROOM!! Waited an hour before she BEGAN to check me in. I left before that. MY time is valuable too! The Dr has patients waiting while he performed surgery in another room. Any OTHER Doctor would make a day for surgery and a day to see patients. 20 people waited in a 10ft x10 ft room. Get a larger office!

This is not a review of Dr Hurst, but of the practice. The waiting room was packed when I got there and I was checked in within 10-15 minutes of arrival. I then waited over an hour - not a single time did any staff member acknowledge they were behind or apologize to anyone for the wait time. It was my first visit and I was to have an ultrasound on my legs prior to seeing the doctor for consultation. Apparently this is standard operating at this practice. I finally got up and thanked the woman who had checked me in for her time, but said I didn't think this practice was going to work for me. Her response: okay. No attempt to save, no apology, just okay. Not okay with me. Waste of an hour and a half. This is not a review of Dr Hurst, but of the practice. Dr. Hurst did vascular surgery on both of my legs in 2 separate weeks. Like any surgery I was scared but he made me feel so comfortable like taking a nap and waking up. And that's the way it was. My appointment was scheduled for 7 AM and I had my designated driver with me cause I was sedated prior to the surgery and needed someone to drive me home. All I remember was I went in, the nurses spoke with me, Dr Hurst said "see you afterwards", and than when I woke up it was the afternoon. The following week I had my other leg done. Dr. Hurst was recommended by my colleague as a great specialist and she're absolutely right. Top notch treatment results, awesome!

I spent for two and a half hours in a waiting room. Had an appointment for 9 am...came to the office at 8:45 and was invited only at 11:35. The doctor was too busy to see me on time. The people sat even on the floor. They were scheduled with no sense to the reality. The air conditioner didn't work. The stuff is rude and disrespectful ...disgusting... chewing the donuts. Stay away from that location on Washington Heights. The doctor is good but the command he pick to work with is really bad..
