I have been a patient of Dr. Hopkins since he started at Mercy NW Expressway about 9 years ago. He is a wonderful doctor. He always takes time to listen to me and has been very knowledgeable about any question I throw at him. He is also very personable and we can talk just about anything. He is a family man and I think this also makes him very caring as you can tell he genuinely cares. His nurse, Kyrstin, has always been extremely helpful, kind and caring. They seem to be a fantastic team. His PA, Katie, I have also seen on occasion and she is a great reflection of him. I have always had a great experience when having to go see this doctor. I do not like Dr. Hopkins. He is more interested in typing on his computer then looking at you or examining you. He definitely is not friendly. Someone else originally diagnosed me and he just ran a lot of lab work and scheduled tests and referred me to another physician. I honestly think that is the best he can do. I know that he schedules way to many patients and always stresses to you just how busy he is.

Dr. Hopkins is one of the most thorough and caring doctors I have ever visited. He cares greatly about finding the cause of an illness. He will work hard to make sure he treats the actual problem and does not just treat the symptoms.

He is a very caring doctor and will spend the time needed to find out the problem. I drive over 30 miles to go see him. Why because he is the best.

Very personable doctor. Straight forward and good to answer questions without speaking down to you. Have been going to him for 3 years or so and have had nothing but positive experiences.

Dr. Hopkins has been my doctor for several years. I fully trust his medical decisions and has excellent staff. Never rushed, always concerned about keeping me healthy.

Best doctor I could have chosen for my boys. We have been with Dr. Hopkins for 2 years now and plan to stay until he stops practicing. Very open about thoughts and options. Details current health happenings so you understand. Both my kids have ADHD and it's been a struggle but comfortable knowing Dr. Hopkins is there to help teach about the medicines and behavior of the disorder. Researches and explores options and makes you feel confident about choices when you leave. Very responsive, kind, and would recommend to anyone looking for a doctor. Did not care very much about my problem ! No compassion for patient ! Quick to judge the situation ! not very friendly ! Raises his voice in a outburst of anger ! received no empathy for my situation after trying to ask for help ! I felt like he could not wait to get me out of his exam room ! Did not want to deal with my health problem ! Just wanted to pass me off to some one else ! I think I should have received treatment for my health problem ! He is still a young dr. and needs more maturity

Dr. Hopkins is one of the few physicians that takes his time with patients and does not rush through the appointment. I have complete trust in his ability.

I am a regular patient of Dr Hopkins, he has always taken good care of me and my family. I never feel rushed and the staff is very helpful

I have been going to Dr. Hopkins for a few years now. He is a good doctor. 1. He listens to patients. 2. His wait times are not really bad. 3. He is willing to do tests that other doctors rule out. For me doctors ruled out a lot of tests because I was "too young" to have those problems. Tests were run by Dr. Hopkins and I did/do have those problems. 4. He wants to treat patients and not just stick them on medication for life. He truly wants to see you become healthy in the way that works best for you. 5. He does NOT look at a computer typing when you speak to him. MANY doctors do this. He looks you in the face and listens to you unless he needs to type out a specific thing wrong with you. Then he tends to repeat what you said in some form which lets me (you) know he was listening. The staff have always been nice and very helpful from the receptionists and nurses to those staff specific for taking blood and doing scans. I have been going to Dr. Hopkins for a few years now. Dr. Hopkins is a good doctor for common illnesses such as the flu. He does spend time with you, does ask questions, and is usually kind. However, he lacks much in knowledge beyond what is revealed in a blood test or X-ray. I have experienced at least two times when he has verbally expressed distain for having to do my Medicare paperwork, and a medical treatment because he was busy. I was very hurt.

He is very patient and will work diligently to solve any problem that you might be having. He really wants his patients to have the best, healthiest life possible. He helped my husband though a very rough virus and he has become our very trusted family doctor.

My experience with Dr. Hopkins was very positive. I selected him based on several reviews and was happy I did. He saw both myself and my son in back to back appointments. He asks lots of questions to get a good idea of how to proceed AND he wants to be involved. (How many can say that about their Doctors). He asked me back in 6 months instead of the usual 12 to check progress and to stay current with his recommendations. His staff is top notch as well.

I called yesterday to schedule an appointment. I was told there were no actual appointments available but there were some times that were free, but I had to call the next day to make the appointment, which makes NO SENSE. She did advise me that I should call when they open to guarantee the slot. I took off work to make sure I could go. I called the next day to schedule the appointment like she suggested, but was told they aren't taking any more patients today. Time for a new doctor........... Dr. Hopkins is the PCP for my husband and myself, and I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He always makes sure to review my medical history before making any diagnosis or prescribing in medication. He asks lots of questions to make sure he understands what is going on. He also explains things thoroughly so I know exactly what I need to do. He is always going above and beyond what any other doctor I've seen does. I would recommend him to anyone!

He took the time to listen to me. I was just in for a walk-in and he treated me as if I were a loyal, long-time patient if his. He took the time to get to know me and to fully educate me. I was extremely impressed! I want to make him my PCP!
