A busy man, long scheduling out (2 months ?), but when he's actually in the room, he is so thorough, so good about answering questions that I stop complaining and am glad I waited.

Dr. Helgemo and his associates are absolutely the very best regarding their skills in addressing their patients' issues in a very caring manner.

Coming off of my third surgery with Dr. Helgemo. Each instance went just great. He and his team explain things well and answer all questions. They are professional and caring in a friendly manner. Highly recommend.

Very positive experience with Dr. Helmedgo and his whole team. Very short wait, not an excessive amount of paperwork to be filled out, the ladies behind the front desk were efficient AND funny! When i was taken back, a tech took down the details of my hand pain then the physicians assistant came in and did a physical exam of my hand, asking questions and manipulating the hand. She left, must've told Dr. Helmegdo her findings, and he came in about two minutes later - completely briefed and ready to help me. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and determined the problem quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Helmegdo and this office.

Outstanding care in what has been a nightmare issue with hand

From the girls at the office to the nurse and assistant and the doctor . All were true professionals. Everything was explain and have my hand operated on next month

My entire experience at Dr. Helgamo's office was positive. Reception , staff and Dr. Helgamo were welcoming, polite ,professional , informative and very friendly! Steroid injection i recieved this morning already seems to be relieving my discomfort! Very satisfied!

Professional, efficient, quick, effective & relatively discomfort-free. Straightening evident immediately. Needle aponeurotomy much to be preferred over fasciectomy, IMO, so long as it's clinically indicated as an effective treatment given state of contracture. As to whether it is so indicated, that's where his unrivalled subject matter expertise comes in; he'll tell you. Outstanding, old school dedication to helping the patient. A rarity today, sadly.

Dr Helgemo has successfully performed two carpal tunnel surgeries and recently trigger finger surgery. He is an excellent surgeon that explains the proceedure. My outcomes have been excellent as well.

I have been seeing Dr Helgemo for the past 16 years due to traumas I inflicted upon myself. ???? He is a wonderful doctor and a nice human being!

Only making preliminary plans for surgery, but Dr. Helgemo was considerate and detailed in his explanation and plan. I appreciated his cautious approach.

Dr. Helgemo seems like a good doc. I've only seen him once though. The question is, would I go back? The answer is, unlikely. My appointment was for 9:15. I showed up at 9:00 figuring I'd have paperwork to do. I was still sitting in the waiting room at 10:25! Yes, well over an hour in the waiting room. That's simply not respecting me or my time. My wife and son have been to his office a few times each and my wife says that they've always waited 45 minutes to well over an hour. I can drive to Venice, see a doctor there, and drive back in the same amount of time. The office staff needs to schedule appointments more realistically. I take my lunch hour for doctors appointments. I should be able to see a doctor that's 8 minutes from my house in less than 2 hours.

My wait time was very reasonable, Dr was very knowledge and listen very well. This Dr has a fast history in helping patients get relief from there hand problems. I trust Dr Helgemo!

I have been going to Florida Hand Center and Dr Helgemo for many years. Staff is always friendly. Waiting times are minimal. Dr Helgemo is also friendly, professional, and he takes the time to discuss your care and different options that are best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Dr.Olarte listened and made me feel at ease and confident in his professional expertise with kind and thorough explanations of his understanding of my symptoms and history and diagnosis. I picked the right Dr and feel confident in his ability and treatment strategy so that I can have the best outcome.

Dr. Helgemo’s personality is so God given. What a caring professional and second to none. Doctor totally put me at ease and explained everything, from my symptoms, surgery and recovery time, in a manner that I understood. He assured me several times that I am going to be fine. I am blessed to have found Dr. Helgemo!

Appointment was on time. Dr. Olarte was kind and explained what the problem was and the treatment. Required an injection which he did quickly with a minimum of discomfort. Office staff was professional and kind.

Every thing was seamless from making the appointment, arriving with a very short wait. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Dr. Helgemo knew exactly what my issue was and took care of it. I would like to thank everyone involved.
