Medical Center of Aurora Wound Care is the best! All the staff are wonderful! Dr Heinz is AWESOME! First he tried antibiotics to treat my wound. When the non invasive option didnt resolve the issue he actually apologized for have to make a 6 inch incision to clean out the infection in my leg. Knowing I was going to have long term wound care I asked him about the possibility of keeping plans to go out of town. He said,"Absolutely keep your plans we know you have a life even with your wound." In the midst of all the COVID craziness I've had lingering issues with a leg infection since April and Dr Heinz is THE ONLY healthcare professional in the past 4 months who has taken off his gloves at the end of each appointment and touched me on the leg with his hand. 4 months and countless doctors and nurses all gloved and masked appropriately for the situation and just one touch at the end of each visit from Dr Heinz has helped my morale in a way I didnt realize I even needed. HE IS THE BEST!

My visit to this medical practice was absolutely positive from beginning to end. Professional and kind staff and while I saw Dr. Horowitz for this visit, I was very impressed. I would highly recommend Dr. Heinz to anyone searching for a wound care physician. Thank you!
