Stephen Carr

I only saw Dr. Carr twice. The first time he performed a CVS (biopsy of my placenta). The second time he did my level 2 ultrasound. In my first trimester, we had early warning signs that something could be wrong with the baby. That's why we had the CVS done (to check for chromosomal defects) and the level 2 ultrasound (to check for heart defects). Dr. Carr was the epitome of professional, clearly competent but also aware that he was speaking to human beings going through a stressful and scary situation. He was good at explaining things clearly, and we left both appointments feeling like we had gotten the best treatment and information possible. (My baby had some minor heart defects that healed on their own in case you were wondering.) Dr. Carr seem like an all-around good man who is very skilled at his job.

He performed my laser surgery to treat the rare twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome on my identical twin girls. Just two days ago and I am feeling great already. Everything went well. He is very educational and clarifies all the details in a way that helps me understand what’s going on, and my options. He is very comforting and calming and in a situation that was scary, I felt I was truly in the best hands.

An exceptional doctor. He is clearly top in his field in addition to being very kind, thorough, and positive. My experience with Dr. Carr and his staff was the best you could ask for in pregnancy. They give you advice, share their expertise, help guide you, and do so in a very caring manner.

Outstanding physician who gives a damn about doing things right and taking care of his patients,

I seen him for a 35+ ultrasound, I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant. I needed surgery on a large cyst at 19 weeks and 5 days! He gathered up an amazing crew a Dr he trained who was fabulous! He comes in after my visits for MFM and I could not be anymore pleased with his bedside manner and his help to keep the safety of my baby and I. This is my first child at 37...So nerves have been a little on edge with everything that's gone on and I want to Thank him for coming in after my Ultrasounds and making me feel relieved! He's polite, generous and very outgoing. Not to mention he's #1 in his field. Thank you Dr Stephen Carr, I could not be anymore satisfied. See you this month????????
