Dr. Stephen Anthony Barnes

I reached out to Dr. Barnes regarding an employment issue that I was dealing with last September. This review is based on my previous experience with a different Attorney and Law Firm compared to my recent experience with Dr. Stephen Barnes. My previous experience with Attorneys has been that they are extremely busy with an overload of cases. As a result, they often overlook critical details with a client's case. Additionally, clients have to constantly follow up with the Attorney to continue moving the case forward with the hopes of a positive outcome. This was not the case with Dr. Barnes. Steve was immediately responsive once I reached out to him. My initial telephone call with Dr. Barnes was over 45 minutes. This was an Attorney that I had never spoken with and one who called me back within an hour of leaving an initial voicemail message. Dr. Barnes gave me crucial advice and also helped me draft legal documents. Steve's help was critical in ensuring that my employer would not be able to take any immediate action which would have negatively impacted my employment. Even though Dr. Barnes main focus is with Medical Malpractice, he took precious time to help me with my employment issue. I would highly recommend Dr. Stephen Barnes. Not only is it very difficult to find an excellent Attorney that will take time to fully understand your concerns and help you navigate through the complex legal system, it's next to impossible to find an Attorney who is both an MD, JD, personable, & professional.
