Dr. Stephanie A Rossi

I saw Dr Rossi the morning of 12-17 for a pre-op visit which I thought was going to last 30 minutes. I was informed I had to have a Echo-cardiogram before I could get a sign off for my surgery. At first I was a bit upset based on the surgery I am having is one of the rarest the hospital performs. My surgeon was doing me a favor as well by performing the surgery before the years end. The procedure is stage two of a two stage process and I didn't need an echo for the stage one two months prior. I simply wanted to get in and get out and to be approved for my surgery so I was a bit discouraged to be precise. Dr Rossi let me know that I could go up two floors and get right in for an echo. The echo-cardiogram tech was very professional and even gave me peace of mind by stating I looked good from his perspective. I was also asked to go to the second floor and have blood work. Having studied under one of the worlds top professors of supply chain management I quickly found the process flow bottle neck of the building. Everything flowed well until my visit with the lab. It was very crowded, the process is antiquated at best and the front desk person was overwhelmed. She was pleasant , but the shear amount of people waiting here was overbearing. I waited for 30 minutes to get called and once in a second bottle neck took place. My blood order was never signed off as to what was needed. so, another 20 minutes went by. Once that was complete I had one simple blood pull taken. This is the ONLY area of the building where Freodart and the Medical College should repair. Back to my doctor. She is a fast talker, I like that trait because she is thinking even faster than she talks. This makes here very precise and very good at what she does. Yes I spent another two hours after my visit with her but it was all based on two things. One, to ensure the hospital has a safe surgery and two, the surgery goes well for the patient. I highly recommend Dr Rossi and the nursing staff, they are top notch in my opinion.
