Dr. Sonia I Oquendo

I've seen Dr. Oquendo for years now. She has always came through and I would not be where I'am today without her. She saw things that I could not and I could never repay her for that.

Bad doctor. Don't go to her. Dr Sonia Oquendo in Hackensack NJ on Summit Ave always tried to put you on the merry-go-round of antidepressants and anti psychotics even though they are dangerous and have a health damage warning- she doesn't care. She's a casual liar. Dr Oquendo is also the most lazy psychiatrist I ever went to. She will accuse you if you are prescribed pain meds and she bad mouthed my other physician for prescribing me pain meds and I told him what she said about him. Dr Oquendo is a totally self-centered individual and she really looks down on you. She's incessantly condescending. When she doesn't want to refill a prescription because of her chronic laziness she'll tell her receptionist to make up a lie. Lying is her main theme. Avoid Oquendo at all costs. She will overcharge you. Don't pay it.

In regards to speaking with this particular Doctor, not only has her tone of voice was rude, but opposite of the gentle, understanding, and compassionate in which all individuals with mental illnesses should receive. Instead of helping me, she immediately referred me to a hospital. Perhaps to misunderstandings, but that phone call was rushed, rude, uncompassionaye, and uncaring. -Kevin Acosta
