This is a copy we sent to Dr. Kamat. Your decision to cancel our appointment and any opportunity to make another appointment on the morning of the appointment was very unethical and unprofessional. The nebulous reasons you gave are very concerning, and basically what we heard was untruthful, and as far as I know bears reporting in the proper places and the proper authorities, very disappointing and unprofessional not to mention sarcastic, we were very disappointed, confused and felt very demeaned!

My first office visit here was amazing..lauren was so nice and knowledgable. very pleased with the team model the dr has 2 treat patients..everyone couldnt have been nicer..and more professional

Dr. Kamat and her staff are always attentive and compassionate. Dr. Kamat always listens to your concerns and really strives to provide you with a better quality of life.

The staff and Dr Kamat are absolutely the finest, most through, most dedicated, most dedicated you will ever find. My mother was a former patient- and the one thing she told me was “go see Dr Kamat!” She was right, as always. I have referred several friends - and they all agree- you will not find a more professional, kind, caring, compassionate, supportive physician anywhere! Simply the BEST

Dr. Kamat and her staff are always courteous and helpful. The knowledge that is shared between her and her nurse practitioners is extensive and they are up to date on any new drugs and/or trials that may be beneficial to their patients. I have been with her for 12 plus years now.

Quick and prompt service from Lauren , she is caring and attentive to the needs of patients . If something is going on such as a flare up , she’s right on point in providing relief that controls or maintains or minimizes discomfort . I would recommend west county rheumatology it has the doctors, physicia n assistant, nurses and office staff ????????????????????????Great job all-around.

Not 100% satisfied with the check-in lady. My wife also had an appointment that same day however during the night she became ill with the stomach flu, vomiting and diarrhea. The receptionist told me she should have called 24 hour before the appointment to cancel. How was my wife to know ahead of time, she was going to be sick? Totally unreasonable.

I have been a patient with West County Rheumatology for over three years. Dr. Kamat and her staff, especially Lauren Sanderson provides services and treatment that are keeping my condition in check. The rest of the staff members are prompt. The wait time for in office scheduled appointments is usually less than 10 minutes. Virtual appointments are also an option for existing patients. With the help of appropriate testing and me being treated by Dr. Kamat and her assistant Ms. Sanderson, my condition was properly identified early on and is still being treated successfully.

Dr. Kamat and Ms. Sanderson have taken excellent care of me throughout my last thirteen or fourteen years of being diagnosed with arthritis. I appreciate their caring attitude and the time they give me to understand my issues during my visits. I am moving three hours away, but have no intentions of finding another doctor. I will drive back for my appointments just to keep them as my doctors.

Great experience with this practice. Both the NP and the doctor explained everything in detail. Answered all my questions. Staff is courteous and pleasant. Would definitely recommend the rheumatologist.

Great first visit. I met all of the staff that will be working with me. They were very thorough and communicative. I feel like I am in good hands.

I spent several years trying to find the cause of my pain and treatment to help. Dr Kamat (and her Nurse Practitioner Holly) have stuck with me when treatment worked and more importantly when it didn't. I will always be grateful for their continuing care.

I am 48 years old and have been to my fair share of doctors offices. This office is the most empathetic, nice, caring people I have ever met. Everyone from the front desk ti the check out desk, they explain your next plan of care in detail. You will never feel rushed about asking questions because they encourage that. From the time you walk in the door to the time you check out you will feel cared about and taken care of. I can’t say enough nice things about this office.

Crystal has a complete knowledge of the business. She also has a great personality in dealing with patients. She treats you as if you are the only patient in this practice! To me that is very important. At the same time, she is quick. (She understands the complete system of the business which makes you feel safe. Thank you!!!!

I see Lauren Sanderson /PA. She listens and is very attentive & knowledgeable. She and the entire staff are terrific! The only improvement I would suggest is that patients get to see Dr. Kamat every 12-18 months or so. I saw her on my very first visit, then PA's after that. I understand her time is limited but it would be nice.

I feel that Lauren Sanderson is never in a hurry, she asks questions and listens to all your concerns.

Office is organized and conscience of our appt. time. Many people performed many jobs: covid temp testing at door, paperwork ready, set-up on web, thorough exam (physical, past treatments, blood work and even reference to get radiology) completed, basically all in 1 day. I have all of my prescribed tests completed and ready to virtually meet in two weeks! I am very satisfied, and appreciate the compassion of the staff and Doctors. This was an emergency visit, all was arranged within a week. Nice!

West county Rheumatology is the best place to get treated for all autoimmune diseases. Nurse Practitioner Lauren Sanderson is awesome! She’s very thorough, you never feel rushed and she listens intently on what you have to say and then administers the appropriate treatment. I’m so happy with the care I’ve been receiving.

I have been going to West County Rheumatology for over 6 months . What a wonderful, friendly, professional staff at the front desk and inside the office. The checkout girls initially I said needed work but they are absolutely incredible now. The lab that they use is also very professional, does a great job, you don’t even notice the stick for blood and are truly kind. I met with Lauren Scott (Scotty) and Dr Kamat. Both incredibly professional, informative and kind women. I still love their team approach to every patient before each appointment the night before. That is so incredibly impressive. In all my years as a patient and as a medical professional I have never come across an office that does it in this manner. I look forward to my continued care with these fine women. My daughter sees these ladies too and is slowly improving. I only wish someone would have caught on to both of us sooner.

Didn't realize getting a prescription filled would take a month. And all of my messages are being diverted to the front instead of the nurse. I have swolen ankles and blood pooling in my foot with severe pain. I guess l will go to urgent care and figure it out. Torn ligaments it would seem. Thanks Crystal.

Love Lauren Sanderson and West County Rheumatology. Lauren is so easy to work with. She listens to what you have to say, always has a solution and gives you choices. So very happy that I chose WC Rheumatology for my needs and services. They do not disappoint.

Lauren has always been very kind and compassionate. I was in a lot of pain and I was having pretty extensor flare . My stress levels have been elevated so my psoriatic arthritis was in full swing. She’s doing everything in her power to get approval from Amgen that I can get the medication I need. Until then I am on prednisone taper. I just appreciate Lauren and Dr. K very much. Actually the whole staff has been very kind. I know when I’m in pain I’m not the most pleasant person to be around I appreciate their patience and empathy. Most thorough lab test I’ve ever experienced. I’m hopeful that these results will produce a correct diagnosis and corresponding treatment modality. I’m so very tired of not knowing what is causing my pain and inability to have a functional life.
