Dr Lee is Awesome! Great surgeon, caring, takes his time with patients. Fabulous bed side manner. I would highly recommend him.

We really liked Dr. Lee. He was thorough, explained things well, and his team was quick and efficient at communicating with referring doctor. And, most importantly, he is very familiar with working with dancers (pointe, etc.)

Loved my visit w Dr Lee. He’s Professional, knowledgeable, approachable, direct, funny, honest and kind. He explained the pros & cons of bunion / hammer toe surgery for me. The likelihood of improvement vs current state, the vicissitudes of recovery, pain relief & future activity. Highly recommend him.

I hadn’t seen Dr. Lee in 5 years but he welcomed me warmly and remembered all the details of our last visit. He gave me valuable information about my foot issue and prescribed a very helpful walking aid. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Lee.

Dr Simon Lee was very generous with his time with me. He explained all my questions about my medical condition. During the examination, he made me feel welcome and comfortable, and that I was important to him. I will definitely recommend him to my family members and friends.

I was supposed to be emailed a couple of referrals. Also, in retrospect, there were a few questions I wish I would have asked.

First-time patient. I was impressed with Dr. Lee's knowledge, demeanor ("bedside manner"), and willingness to give me treatment without requiring a second appointment. He explained things to me very understandably, plus showed me using a foot replica and my x-rays. I learned more in that appointment than in many appointments with other orthopedists. In addition, the Oak Brook staff is very friendly and timely (no real wait time). The facility is very state-of-the-art. Color me impressed all the way around!

Dr.Lee was on time and very Knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. He made my family as well as myself feel great about the decision made to have a cast crutches in a shoe.I have an appointment scheduled in two weeks and have full Confidence in the doctors decision.

I was having trouble finding an appointment ASAP. Felicia in central scheduling for Midwest Ortho at Rush was so helpful finding me an appointment within 3 days with Dr. Simon Lee. Dr. Lee was very professional and patient. He Explained verbally and visually the issue I was having with my ankle. I highly recommend Dr. Lee.

Very Experienced. Quiet confidence. My triple Arthrodesis is a complicated surgery. At 4 weeks. So far so good.

Dr. Simon Lee & his associates were all very professional and caring from my first visit to my last. They made sure I understood what was being done and that all my questions were answered. I had a fractured fibula, and a severe syndesmotic injury from a fall. They put in a distal fibular plate with a knotless TightRope. During rehabilitation I had several therapists and all of them were very impressed with the mobility my ankle has. Three months after the surgery I am able to walk without a limp and with very little to no pain. I spent very little time waiting at any of my visits. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Lee and his staff. He is professional and has a wonderful bedside manner. I have never witnessed a more efficient and professional office than that of Dr. Lee and Midwest Ortho. If you are considering any type of foot surgery you would be doing yourself a disservice by opting to not at least consult with Dr. Lee.

Dr Lee is the antithesis of the first Orthopaedic surgeon I saw. Dr Lee listened carefully to me, considered my entire history, fully explained his diagnosis and treatment plan AND, most importantly, did NOT suggest surgery. A welcome relief from many of the specialists I have seen.

Doc Lee listens to his patients and engages them in clear and simple language explaining their problem(s).

Today I was able to walk without pain.

Dr. Lee is very attentive to your needs and situation. He provides a reasonable approach with action plan to figure out how to move forward. I came to see him as a second opinion regarding an issue with my left foot, and his approach, question, and action plan already give me better peace of mind for what's next!

He's a nice guy, but is reluctant to share information. He over sold my toe fusion surgery and then played dumb when the outcomes promised didn't happen. Five months after the surgery, walking on my foot is more painful than ever and there isn't any hope for improvement. He offered to repeat the surgery, but I've already been burned once. I would not recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Lee because of recurring issues. He was able to assess the situation and schedule the testing and surgery to correct the issue with my foot. I am still going to Dr. Lee to make sure I heal properly. All around knowledgeable individual and staff.

Best orthopedic in Chicago!!!

He’s the best ankle doctor in chicago. Extremely up to date and incredibly thorough.

I went to Dr Lee for a second opinion. He was on schedule, very informative, explained things in a way I could understand, and was very nice.

Dr. Lee and company at Midwest orthopedic are 1st class in the way they run their business and treat me as a patient. Thankfully this time nothing was broken!

Very knowledgeable Physician, who is specialized in Foot Surgery. He explained everything what I questioned him very well and understandable.

Dr. Lee listens well and is willing to discuss options. I have been struggling with an ankle injury and I am confident that we are on the right path to improving soon.

First meeting Dr. Lee he was very informative about next steps as well as encouraging. He also told me what expect. I felt comfortable with Doctor be cause he definitely made sure I had a full understanding of everything before I left his office.

The best! I was really scared of going through surgery. But, Dr.Lee explained everything very well and assured me everything was going to be ok. He has the best at explaining everything. And walking you step by step of what is expected before surgery, after surgery, and through out your recovery. Definitely recommend him.

I have been to several Orthopaedic doctors about my painful feet. I could get no help. Dr Lee recommended a plan, and did surgery on my left foot. He did an incredible job. He and his staff were thorough, professional, caring. I cannot adequately express my gratitude for his care. I recommend him to a family member, who also had excellent results.

Dr. Lee got me in for surgery quickly following a ruptured Achilles’ tendon. His team is extremely professional, made sure I was comfortable with his technique and that I understood the surgery and recovery. They have been great in follow up from surgery as well ensuring that I’m progressing well and are quick to reply to any calls/emails I have with questions. My daughter injured her ankle and the first surgeon unfortunately cut a nerve during the surgery and also made other errors in the surgery. She had to go to a nerve repair surgeon and then to Dr. Lee to repair what was wrong. She was having trouble walking when we went to Dr. Lee. He was incredibly thorough and a great listener and more importantly did an excellent job on her ankle. She just got back from a camping and hiking trip she could Never have considered before his surgery. THANK YOU DR LEE!
