I have been a patient of Dr. Pandian for years now. He has consistently offered solutions to my mental health needs. I always leave feeling like an active participant in my treatment. He seems to be open minded and has suggested many non-presciption options in the past. It's very difficult to find a doctor that listens. I do not feel rushed or brushed off and he is responsive to any questions via the patient portal. As far as requiring return visits for prescription refills; I think it's important. It helps him monitor the use of medication to make sure the patient is improving and using it properly. A minor inconvenience that serves a bigger purpose. This doctor just looking for money his medication gonna sent you to the ER for sure and after that he not gonna answer the phone at all or he gonna make you hole of tests

Made an apt online only to be called by receptionist who was extremely rude telling me, “I’m not even supposed to be answering the phone this early.” Then was told I could not be treated because I have ADD.

Irresponsible for dr pandian to put someone on medication then doesn't let you know that he won't refill the prescription without seeing him.

Very methodical in his approach, great listener, compassionate, communicates well through e-mail, would highly recommend with zero equivocation.

Dr. Pandian saved my life. He never gives up in your recovery. He starts his appointments by telling you that he will help you, no matter what happens. He is great at responding to messages and always responds quickly online. He explains options for your care and provides excellent education. 100% would recommend. Wonderful doctor, the best psychiatrist I have ever been to. But his office staff is HORRIBLE. Rude, condescending and unfriendly. I should not have anxiety when I speak to his receptionist about making payments or scheduling an appointment.

Horrible! I agree with Cory. I am in a similar situation. How irresponsible for a doctor to not call his patients letting them know their medication won't be refillable.

All I can say is this doctor claimed to be an addiction specialist and he gets his DEA license taken away or his license to prescribe Controlled Substances because a patient abused medication he prescribed and tried to blame the patient. I liked doctor Pandian very much and would recommend him, as long as you don't need prescription drugs. His DEA license was revoked for prescribing too much controlled substance medication, which is what he prescribed for me. Now I am in the position where I have to find another doctor who will be willing to continue prescribing or work with me on a slow taper off the medication. Pleased with my consultation with Dr. Pandian today. Went in after reading his reviews on Zocdoc. True to the word. He's top notch! Highly recommend.

Dr. Is very smart and takes the time to listen to you and what is going on in your life and then is very good at coming up with a solution to your problem and if a medication is not working properly he is their quickly to adjust the medication or possibly come up with something that better suits you. Have not had any problems.

Dr. Pandian is the best psychiatrist I have seen! Since I became his patient, my health has improved significantly. He is very intelligent and really listens to me. He asks me the right questions and explains my diagnosis and treatment plan clearly to me. He truly cares about his patients' well being. I am thankful to have found him.

Dr. Pandian literally saved my life while I was going through the darkest part of my life to date... It started with me losing my job along with insurance. He helped work out a plan to reduce my out of pocket visits having no insurance any more. Then I lost my home, then wife and family, then car. I was at my end. Dr Pandian has been my doc for 2 years now and all I can say is he is caring, non judgmental and intelligent. Everytime I leave the office it's after he has asked me pertinent questions, assessed my current symptoms when I'm having them and reiterates the plan of action so I understand the treatment plan. It's so hard to find help suffering with mental disorders. The negative review citing a specific demographic, medication class and payment method is just plain wrong.

When I went here, the waiting room, about 20 by 20, had at least 3 millenials in there on Daddy's insurance every appointment I had that were clearly opiod dependent. Pretty gross office with two workers. Hopefully handles the addicts better than other areas of speciality. My most alarming part is the lack of communication skills: if I can't understand barely anything you say-- realistically how on Earth could you listen to what I am telling you and understand me clearly?

Would never refer this fraud! My son has been Detoxing for 1.5 days. We have left multiple messages since Wed begging for help to get him into Detox spoke to his "secretary" and he finally calls back at 3:45pm Friday. My son has been in ER since 5am is going to Detox in a few. He told this to Pandia. Pandia says he is calling in another prescription for 12 Xanax just in case! This drug dealer needs his licensed pull. I'm finally complaints with the board. He is a danger to his patients

In 1988 I was diagnosed with Refractory Depression. Physicians who treated me did so with 1 medication at a time; some worked, some didn't . Fall 2015 I tried to commit suicide; when I "came to" Dr. Pandian was standing next to me. I said "Please help me"; he said "I will help you"! We worked together to find the best med "cocktail" to treat me. He is the 1st physician in 30 years to dig to the bottom of my depression & figure out how to deal with it. If he had wings & a halo he would fly!

Dr. Pandian is essentially a medication management doctor - you are there to find medications to assist you. You would think his office would have the prescription delivery/refill process down to a science. They don't. You are left chasing prescription requests without him/his office lifting a finger to ensure you have your meds. Nothing is streamlined or clear - be prepared to be frustrated and have to follow up on everything (and don't expect an apology for their mistakes, ever).

Dr. Panadian is the best Psychiatrist I have ever gone too ! I was a mess when I first went to see him mentally and medication wise, it is so hard to find good doctors these days . All they seem to care about is the money, but Dr. Pandian was informative and actually listened to my issues. We worked them out together and now I've never felt better, I don't know where I would of ended up with out him. Also Yessica his receptionist is such a sweet heart, she goes out of her way to help you.

I had an awful experience with my last psychiatrist and I was nervous to meet a new one. I read up online about Dr. Pandian's reviews on ZocDoc and not one person had something bad to say about him. I met him the first time the other day and I felt so comfortable and at ease and he was so understanding and explains all the medications perfectly. He really knows his stuff. He also is so friendly and I can tell he genuinely cares about you. Great doc. He is the BEST!!!
