Dr. Shifeng Mao

Dr. Mao is an amazing doctor. He was very helpful when I didn’t u sweat and my treatment. He also has no issues with talking with my other doctors. Best oncologist in my book.

Dr. Mao is the best doctor I have encountered. He was the only one who diagnosed my cancer, while UPMC just ignored it. He is very caring and has great bedside manner. He is the only oncologist I trust. I wish I could give him a 10/10.

Rude and disrespectful bedside manner. Not proactive with care plan. Would NOT recommend if you are in need of cancer care, as your life depends upon a good doctor. Seek a better oncologist.

DO NOT go to Dr. Mao. Do NOT entrust the life of your loved one in his hands. He has a callous and demeaning bedside manner, doesn't take the time to know his patients or spend time with them. Does not create a treatment plan with any urgency when a patient is in dire need. Find a caring doctor who wants to help .... or you may not have your loved one around.

I have no idea why a Mr Eric Kosko gave Dr. Mao such a low rating. Maybe because of his nationality? He's a American, this country the United States if your not a American Indian your a foreigner. Anyways, Dr. Mao is a professional, he knows his trade. He's humorous, lot more than I can say for some doctors will talk to you and outline his treatment plan for you. He's treated me very good and really cares for his patients. And, worries alongside you when your not doing so hot. If you are still working and work a normal daylight schedule, insist on getting the earliest morning appointment possible. He does spend time with you, but that quality of his gets him very far behind schedule as the day goes on.
