BEWARE she is a scammer. Horrible. My relative went to Dr. Shah just for her nose and she was charged for a hearing test and all sorts of stuff that she did not even need. Now she is stuck paying a huge bill almost 1k when she was never given a bill before by any other ENT doctor. You go there for one thing and they try to bill you for so many different things you don't need. Avoid this place at all costs. Huge scam.

Very competent! Wouldn't let anyone else near my ears but Dr. Shah. No pain is a nice thing!

Scam artist. Looked in my ear and nose for 2 seconds each and charged a $25 co-pay for each. She’ll charge you multiple co-pays for one visit. No morals as a medical professional. Will never go back. $50 copay and I have great insurance. Will be disputed with Empire Plan

I went one time to see this doctor and she wasted my time, and now she is trying to collect a co-payment from me when she did nothing for me!!! She had hippy ways about her which was not the right procedure for this type of doctor!!! Stay away!!!

The office staff was beyond unprofessional complaining and making comments about the patients showing up whenever they want and late. They spoke about how appointments are within 20 min intervals. I then told one of them that I made my appointment via Zoc doc for 10:30 am she then realized that I had heard and then directed me to sit in the back. This appointment was a complete waste of time. I don't recommend this ENT to anyone. Her back was to me the entire time. Don't waste your money and or time. I must say they don’t make Doctors like this anymore. Dr. Shah is amazing !!!

Been going here since I was a kid for about 20 years wonderful place, great doctors.

I have been at this doctor’s office and the service was excellent, can’t complain about the stuff. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs an ENT doctor because they doctor showed how much she cares for the wellness of her patients.

Felt like the money mattered more than me. I saw these sentiments echoed in other reviews so I should have read them ahead of time.

I went to Dr. Shah because I had lump and discomfort in my neck along with a slight earache. She looked in my ears and nose and made a diagnosis of an ear infection. She did not feel the lump in my neck and when I asked her about the lump she said that it was just inflammation from the infection. She asked me to return in a week which I thought was odd and became convinced that I did not have an ear infection. Instead, I visited another ENT who diagnosed the lump as a mass in the parotid gland which involved a difficult surgery and recuperation. I was fortunate that the mass was not malignant. Dr. Shahs disregard of my complaint caused me undue stress, pain and expense. She spent more time typing up her findings than the 3 minute exam itself. For her 3 minutes I was billed $400.

Based on my experience, I am unsure whether Dr. Shah is conducting her practice ethically. IMO, she seems motivated by money. 1) She recommended treatments sold out of her office, like nasal spray which dried out my nose requiring follow-up where I was sold nasal gel to moisturize dried nose. I'm wary that her priority is not keeping me away/out of doc's office but keeping me coming back which generates $$. 2) Patients were overbooked too closely. After waiting a long time to be seen- on multiple occasions, though she explained my condition well, the instant she was done with me, she was DONE with me. She checked out, did not take time in answering my questions, even avoided eye contact. It seemed like her tactic to rush me out because she was already very behind on appointments. 3) She asked how I was referred to her; then encouraged me to give her 5 stars on the platform. That's not appropriate. 4) Her office has billed my insurance for procedure not performed & are not responsive.

Unprofessional. Hearing test was administered using a headphone with a loose wire. Was told to keep jiggling it to hear a tone. Dr. Consult impersonal, rushed, questions were blown off. Felt she was generating income. Have been back three times and now more testing ordered. Still no answers. I'm done.

Very easy to make an appointment. When I arrived I was taken in almost immediately. I was there because of vertigo.When Dr. Shah came into the room she informed me of how much $$$ I had left on my deductible and that she would start with a hearing test and would cost me (x) amount. I thought that was strange. I agreed.I was sold some nasal spray and told to follow up. When I returned for a follow up she never re examined me , just sat down asked me questions and entered into her computer and told me to follow up in a month again. FOR WHAT? Another questionnaire. I then realized its all about the $$$$ I then called my insurance company to ask about the original billing and I was told that I reached my deductible before that first appointment and they paid the DR. I then called the Dr's Office back and was told that yes I have a credit balance of close to $200. I asked for a refund and they sent me a check. I'm sure shes a great DR. I wouldn't go back

I consulted Dr Shah for a middle ear infection. Having been in a chemical fire, I’m sensitive to many drugs. She was informed of this as I brought a list and their side effects. After 2 days, I was having an adverse effect from the antibiotic so I called her office and left a message 2 times before my cardiologist told me to go to the ER. The next morning I called and spoke to someone who said she’d inform the doctor. No call back from the office and that evening the pharmacy informed me of a new drug. This drug was the first one she tried to prescribe that I had on my list and told her I couldn’t use. Called the next day to remind them of this and ask if there were ear drops or an irrigation that could help. Never heard back just 4 texts to reschedule a hearing test and 2 emails. Wouldn’t recommend her nor did the Long Beach office look state of the art. One star for diagnosing. Printed my reaction as not unheard of as posted on drug warning sites. MB RVC

From start to finish this was a horrible experience. Still dealing with billing department who will bill as a surgical procedure for sticking a metal tube in your nose. I don't think enough people have been to a good ENT to know what to look for. This is not one. Bloody nose after their treatments, creating problems instead of solving them and the rudeness. Not returning obviously. Some of the staff were nice and the office was clean but that shouldn't weigh as high as being an actual doctor.

She spends only a few minutes and examines and gives advise with such speed that you can certainly be sure that she’s not doing her job professionally. Truly dissapounted. It appears that she cares more about generating revenue for her practice than the patient.

Dr. Shah is seemed to be pleasant doctor and knowledgeable but the one thing that turn me off is that she discussed copayment with me prior to the examination. She is probably used to patients not paying her for her services so she took it upon herself to discuss copayments. I am not going to return to her or recommend her to anyone. I am quite aware that doctors have to earn a living too but this behavior is not acceptable.

Dr. Shah is very nice. My poor rating is for her staff. On 4/30/13, I went to the long beach location for a Laryngoscopy. Before the procedure, I ask the doctor what is involved; she explained a device will inserted through my nose down my throat. The female technician got it close to my nose, made sure it did not make any contact and said ok we are done. Copay was already collected and my insurance was charged, no follow ups. If I knew then I could have challenged all charges, I would have.

Simply the best. She is warm, caring, intelligent and just a wonderful person. Wish all my doctors were like her. The front staff is responsive and attentive.

More interested in money than caring for the patient, front desk was pathetic and rude! Yes rude. Never seen a doctor who talks money prior to attending to the patient. I will not recommend her to anyone.

I had such a great experience with this doctor. The staff reached out to me before I even went in to let me know about my coverage for the visit which I thought was so kind. I cant tell you how many doctors have billed me and never told me about how much money I would have to pay. They made sure there were no surprises at all. When I met the doctor, she was so sweet and she really knows her stuff. She explained my problem perfectly and helped to get rid of the pain I had. She's a great doctor!!!

I saw Dr. Shah for the first time today. She is great! She was very nice and really helped me with my ear problem. She also told me how I can avoid the same problem in the future since it's a problem I have frequently from spending a lot of time in the ocean. Her staff was very accommodating with appointment times and they really helped me out with all my insurance questions since I wasn't really familiar with my new insurance plan. I would definitely recommend the office to my family & friends.

I saw Dr Shah recently for my sinus problem. I had seen E.N.T. doctors before seeing her without relief. The office staff was very pleasant ,waiting time was minimal and care received was excellent . She is very professional caring and compassionate. She explained my problem in detail. She laid out a plan of treatment. Overall it was an excellent experience for me. I would recommend her very highly.

Dr. Shah was really sweet and patient. I know I talk a lot, but I have been suffering with hearing loss for a long time and I really wanted to express my concerns and she made sure to hear me out and never made me feel rushed. She has been working with me for a while now and I have to say my everyday life has gotten better with her treatments and care. Her staff has always been able to accommodate me and are the sweetest people. I am so grateful to all of them!

Couldn't tell you about the dr, but the front desk doesn't care about patients.

I have been using Dr. Shah for several years now. I have brought my mother-in-law, who is 100 years old, my sister-in-law and now my husband uses her too. We have found that whatever ou. r problem may be she is right on target and doesn't make a big deal over things. The office staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Also, she spends as much time as is needed with you--never rushes you in and out like a number of doctors do today.

Dr. Shah has always provided me with excellent care. She's warm and friendly and very conscientious and thorough in her treatment and with her advice. I certainly would recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Shah and her staff are amazing! I have been suffering with throat pain for several months. It can be difficult to find a physician who is extremely intelligent and who had a great bedside manner. Dr. Shah encompasses both of these qualities. The office was extremely clean and the staff really went above and beyond to help me resolve some insurance issues. I would absolutely recommend this office to my family, friends and colleagues!

I saw Dr. Shah after suffering with sinus issues for years with no relief. She was so kind and took her time to help explain to me what exactly was wrong. I like the holistic approach that Dr. Shah took in addition to prescription medication. Most doctors are so quick to just give you a pill and send you on your way but not Dr. Shah! She was so smart and helpful and her staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming when I came in. I can't wait to see her again and recommend her to all my friends!

Dr. Shah was really amazing. She spent a lot of time with me & my aging Dad talking to me about his condition and how the medicine she prescribed would work. Since my Dad is elderly, I only wanted surgery as a LAST RESORT, & Dr. Shah was very sensitive to that. Rare that you find a surgeon who is willing to see you even if you don't want an operation!! Since I also have kids, she was also kind in accommodating appointment times around my children's schedules. Would give 10 stars if I could!!!!!

I first went to Dr. Shah for severely dry (like the Sahara) nasal passages that were bleeding profusely. She calmed me about the bleeds, explaining what causes them and how to control them. She then explained how we should proceed with treatment, which was non evasive, which I like. She has put me at total rest that this will get better with time, a marathon not a race. Dr. Shah has answered every question directly. I feel extremely confident and at ease in her hands. Simply a terrific doctor.

Great care! Have been to 5 other ENT's and NONE were able to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Shah took the time to fully explain my sinus problem and I feel so much better. She is the ONLY ENT to goto and it's so great that she has an office in Long Beach and Garden City!

I have struggled for many years and seen other doctors with sinus problems and sore throats. The associated fluid in my ears caused me serious problems and pain when I flew in an airplane. Dr. Shah was recommended by someone who felt Dr. Shah was the best ENT on Long Island. Dr. Shah put me on a regimen to naturally reduce the problem and gave me a protocol of actions to take before/during flight so I no longer have to worry when I fly for business. I will be forever grateful.

One of the worst experience. She lacks knowledge, her staff is rude and really obnoxious like her. I myself as a doctor went to her clinic and what a rude behavior she even doesn?t follow the Hippocratic Oath. She bills you for the services never performed and patient gets big deductibles and copays, in the end you will not get treated and being served with a bill for the services never performed. I personally as a doctor will warn patients of a great talk but no walk. I hope I can save some pat
