Dr. Shawn K Taher

Bought a Groupon deal and called to make appointment in advance. I was honest and upfront about the deal and they told me they don’t take appointment but they’d only call me if they have a spot. That’s not appointment, that’s a stand by appointment service. I asked for the next 2 months and they said they don’t have anything. Impossible to try to get a service. Groupon deals usually expire in 3 months and imagine they never called and I just wasted my money. It seems a little shady here imo

Superior service and knowledge of how to treat the pain in my back and hips. Dr. Taher extremely knowledgeable in all areas concerning the body. Very positive experience!!

Great customer service and great team.

The 60 minute deep tissue massage was amazing , ask for leaundra you will not regret it !! The front desk staff is amazing and courteous! Definitely going once a month from now on !

After a few visits with Dr. Taher, my knee pains are almost gone. I can walk normally after 4 visits. I am amazed with the results. I almost went for the knee surgery and now I am looking forward to this natural healing, non-evasive process. I had never been to a Chiropractor in my life and was very hesitant to go for my first appointment, but my Orthopedic was not available for over a week. I was in pain so went to Body Balance on a recommendation from a friend and encouragement from my husband. The best appointment I ever had. This was the beginning of my relationship with this wonderful practice. I now go for monthly maintenance treatments and at times when I feel the need will go in for treatment, especially if I have injured myself in some way. The doctor and staff are Amazing!!! Truly listen to your needs and help find a solution. Love the machine they use for adjusting, leaves nothing to chance.

I am absolutely 100% impressed with how lovely this facility is. Every staff member was kind, thorough, patient, efficient, and determined. They took the time to REALLY listen to all of my concerns and are approaching my treatment form several avenues, I truly appreciate the dedication and finally have hope.

Came in for a massage and they had me listed for chiropractic. Not sure how they misunderstood "swedish massage" with "chiropractic". And now they have no massuese available. Then, they wanted me to pay additional money for something I didn't sign up for. I will not back to this waste of time!

Purchased a Groupon for a 60 min massage. The place was very friendly and inviting the masseuse leaundra did amazing job getting knots out of my back. She took her time asked questions and really made me feel comfortable . I look forward to visiting again.

I had major surgery on my rotator cuff and tendon. I was in a very bad condition. I when did my therapy with Body Balance Chiorprator and Wellness, they were super friendly and helpful. I had the best experience of my life, I'll definitely referral the place to anyone.

I liked the doctors and the treatment. However do not care for the "open concept" treatment area. I would prefer a little more privacy. That's the only reason I won't be returning.

I've got to share my story I discovered this place at the beginning of 2016, l was in bad shape, I had 2 herniated disks and the doctors had me on a schedule for surgery. The sciatic pain was bad it weakened me, I had to be helped a lot of times. Dr. Taher's method, of getting your back aligned didn't hurt, he uses this space aged machine that has this wand, that's connected to a computer that measures the correct distance between the vertebrates on your back, giving the discs breathing room. I elected not to have surgery because I no longer needed it. This is a different way of Chiropractic choices, Dr Taher at Body Balance on 12155 Jones Rd, Is an amazing Chiropractor, he cares about getting you better and his staff are all nice and helpful. Such a personalized experience! Dr. Allred assessed my needs and went to work. I was having pretty intense shoulder pain from an AC separation and was to the point that I was having difficulty putting my shirt on. I couldn't believe how quickly he assessed the issue and put my shoulder back in proper placement. I left his office with full shoulder mobility and have felt great ever since. I purchased a groupon for a massage. Worth the groupon price but I would not pay full price. This is very much a doctor's office not a spa. Just keep that in mind. I had to wait 45 minutes for my massage because the therapist did not show up. Once the staff realized how long I had been waiting they quickly had a back up fill in. This didn't seem to be a usual thing. The waiting area is not very relaxing. Its kind of noisy because of the chiropractic center happening down stairs. The massage was good, however I was FREEZING the whole time. and the lights were left on high. It was also a bit noisy too. The walls are like paper. You can hear everything. Overall it was good. If it was not for him i would literally have had to cancel my vacation with the family. I have been going to a Chiropractor since 1999 and have always been adjusted manually. I was introduced to Dr. Taher by my boss about a month ago as I was badly in need of an adjustment due to a pinch nerve in the neck and headaches. My previous chiropractor was not close by due to moving across town. After reading up about Body Balance and Dr. Taher I decided to give it a try as I was a little skeptical bout being adjusted by a machine "The Pro Adjuster" being I have always been adjusted manually. The machine works just as well if not better by giving a thorough adjustment. You may not feel anything initially but eventually you can tell. Dr. Taher & Dr. Longoria are two of the most caring & compassionate doctors I have ever had the pleasure working with. They both go beyond chiropractic care and understands how the whole body is related. They are top notch doctors! The staff there makes you feel like you are their #1 patient and always takes the time to go over something if you are not familiar with what they are doing/performing on you. I have been struggling with back pain for at least 9 years, going from doctor to chiropractor, to massage therapist etc. Now I have discovered Body Balance and I am so happy. They have a complete system to diagnose one's problems not leaving out any possible variable. The doctor chiropractor is thorough, kind , listens attentively to the problems, and makes copious notes. Their operation is amazing and unassuming with assistants everywhere all working smoothly from patient to patient. In one short session I decreased my pain by about 50%. I have found my home. With caution I write this because in the two times I've gone the place has been completely full and waiting for an appointment may become an issue. I met someone who went there after driving 1 1/2 hours. I predict they will have to enlarge their space or move soon. I came to Body Balance about 6 months ago with a pinched nerve and a misaligned spine. Dr. Taher and the great staff helped me rid the pinch nerve and begin the process of realigning my spine. Dr. Taher and Dr Longoria educated me on every step of the treatment I was receiving and gave pointers on how to maintain the treatment after my 6 mo regimen. The staff is extremely friendly and nurturing, which made my morning treatments less of a burden. Everyone who works at Body Balance is very knowledgeable when it comes to making people feel better. I love how flexible they are. If I walk in to my appointment 15 minutes early, they have no trouble seeing me sooner than I was scheduled. All of the doctors are very professional, but also very personable.
