I didn’t like the treatment plan she gave for glaucoma, I have been seeing other eye doctors for years no one asked me to be in a treatment plan for every 2 months and life long eye drops prescription for an healthy eye, I have a history of large nerve that doesn’t mean that I should be seeing life long. Nowadays doctors become more commercial. They need new patients to be seeing regularly. The wait is also very long, they call the patients and put in a different rooms and make us sit for long time, nobody has that time to wait and get treatment.

I had the worst experience at this office. This was my first eye exam and the process was not explained to me at all. I was given some eye drops to dilate my eyes. However, I was not told that my vision would be blurry. Dr. Shashi was the rudest to her employees. She Spoke to them in a very condescending manner. Let me tell you about Dr . Derma .I new her moor than 22 years No one Dr . Could keep me from being blind except her .She still to me and my friend I recommend the best Dr . Ever She helped many people hopeless. She did prozegers simple That the other Dr.s doing big operation unnecessary Ander my vision. Be prepared to wait hours beyond your appointment for Dr. Dharma. I don't think she is particularly rude, just a little curt and far too busy for her own good.

Dr. Dharma constantly cancels and reschedules your appointments, extremely inconvenient. She is very rude and doesn't care about anyone! Once you do get in she recommended eye injection and procedures that were totally unnecessary now I am losing vision and she said it's not her fault when it happened as a result of seeing her. GO ANYWHERE ELSE, don't make the mistake or not trusting the other reviews. Hate this place, wish I had gone elsewhere. This doctor is rude as hell. Due to her loud talking, there is no type of confidentiality for the patients even though, they might be in a room. Her reviews need to go down to a 1.0. don't go here, unless you want your health records yelled all over the building..

Had an appt with Dr. Dharma at 3:30 pm. and walked out without sering dr. around 5:00 pm with dialayrd eyes .. twice!! Staff says they had emergency and everything pushed out. In that case, I did not receive any text that they are running behind. There is no patient care. Patient beaware !!

The only problem I had with her , is that she asked me why I changed eye doctors frequently . She seemed more concerned with that , instead of me as a patient . The reason , in actually, is that ,whenever I moved or a doctor of mine did ( it happened twice, and I am in my my sixties ) a new doctor sends me to whomever they know or want to give the business to . I had my eyes checked at Dr Dharma's clinic. The staff was nice and diagnosis was also nice.

Dr. Mahendra Mahatma is a good listener and has lots of experience as a gastroenterologist. I appreciate his help and expertise to improve my health.

Long wait time appointment at 3 it was 4:45 before she got to me ,didn't speak or apologize for the long wait could have at least said Hello

Dr. Dharma is very experienced and she runs her clinic like a drill sergeant. She is a good communicator and takes the time to explain your condition and the treatment being given. I have age related wet macular degeneration and she's right on top of the latest treatments. There is the common wait time for going to an ophthalmology specialist.

I went to Dr.Dharma with x-rays of my eyes. Dr. Dharma said I needed to have injection & laser to clear up a protein leakage. She gave me both now I have bleeding behind my retina & Lost of vision & She claiming she can't & will not fix the issue. I going to sue Dr. Dharma even though I sign a consent form. I'm not the only patient with the same issue. I feel bad for anyone who needs there site & that don't have the BEST INSURANCE I went to Dr.Dharma with x-rays of my eyes. Been to Dr Dharma many times. She knows what she's doing. She explains things in terms that any patient could understand. Never had any problems with the staff.

If you want a doctor who will listen, explain, and talk to you, do not go here. Extremely poor communication. I regret going to her.

Called to make an appointment to check if I had a retinal detachment. They said they could get me in the same day before knowing I didn’t have insurance and once I told them I’d be paying cash they didn’t want to let me go even to just get tested because I wouldn’t afford the “surgery”. Terrible! I just wanted to get a retinal exam! So I suppose that unless people don’t have insurance you assume they can’t afford the surgery or you just don’t want patients that can’t afford your treatments? Dr Dharma is a down to earth doc you would expect to find out in the country. She doesn't try to speak lingo that no one can understand and doesn't try to come across as the smartest person in the room. I got a second evaluation from her after a nightmare visit to an eye doctor about a mile away from her. She prescribed me some special drops and my issue cleared up in about a week. Big change from the other dumb ass doc who suggested I may need to get my eye fully removed!!! Come see Dharma...you will be glad you did. I have been a patient of Dr. Dharma for several years for both eyes bleeding. She and her staff are very compassionate, understanding, caring and explains in detail what the problem is and the best treatment plan should be followed. Just one instance I personally experienced of how awesome Dr Dharma and the staff will go for you,,,I had an emergency arise on Saturday, went there, no appointment, was seen immediately, determine the issue, contacted insurance company for immediate approval.

PLS do not see Shashi Dharma and especially don't go thru any surgery with her. She has literally screwed up my eye and have to sit at home for 4 months. She need lot of experience and has to really study the patient medical history before going for any procedure. Add to this, she has to be caring with patient after the surgery and should explain good or bad. In my case, she got nervous and didn't explain until we see her on the next day follow up. I had 2 tears on my retina back in January. She fixed both, and now I see a bit better than before. Friendly staff, highly recommended.

Very Knowledgeable, works with her patients to get their needs taken care of quickly and efficiently. Great sense of humor which is great and makes it easier to address scary issues.

I have seen Dr. Dharma only once because I needed to see an ophthalmologist who I can trust and she is by far the best doctor I have been to. The staffs are very friendly and professional and makes you comfortable during your whole visit. Highly recommended!

Following surgery done by Dr. Dharma in 2014, I was seen by doctors at UTSW who stated that my eye was in bad shape and they were going to do everything they could to save it, but there were no guarantees. Fortunately, they did save my eye.

NO way will I recommend this doctor. We've been taking my 83-year-old brother once a month to Dr. Dharma. Yesterday (10/26/16), My brother's appointment was 2:00p. We arrived there at 1:30 and he was called into the doctor's area about 1:50. We were still waiting for him 2 hours later. He finally gave up waiting for the doctor. He said someone dilated his eyes, told him he would need an injection in his arm, had all the tools ready on the table, then left. He had to sit there for almost 2 hours.

It is common to wait 2 hours to see her. She takes other patients ahead of you because you can hear what she is saying to everyone. I had the first appointment after lunch and still waited an hour hour to see her because she took a later patient before me. Go figure. Oh and one of her staff told me she has preference to whom she will see.

Brought my mother here to see her for the first time. Took us 2 and half hours to get seen plus extra testing which they didn't mention in the beginning. When she's going from patient to patient I can hear what she is saying, and that doesn't respect people's privacy. Office staff is great and polite. Long waits. Rushed service. Overheard the Dr talk about charging for services whether it was needed or not. Dr Scott R Witherspoon is the best

Very professional Service. Staff is very helpful and polite. I have switched doctors and find it comforting that there are Great Doctors like Dharma in my vicinity for my Eye care.

It's difficult to assess the doctor when one becomes so frustrated after being kept waiting for over an hour for EVERY appointment. I have yet to be seen in a timely fashion and have been late for other obligations on more than one occasion. I do not appreciate the lack of respect for my time. Once in with the doctor,it feels rushed and I leave with more confusion regarding my condition and next steps.

She has a very heavy schedule but when she comes into the exam room she has all the time you need. Very calm & personable.

Dr. Dharma has been treating my 90 year old mother for years. Dr. Dharma ALWAYS provides a very understanding and very gentle approach with my mother, who has the beginnings of dementia; So with this illness comes much confusion and memory loss for my mother. Words are not enough to express our sincere gratitude for Dr. Dharma and her entire staff. Such a beautiful and caring facility. God bless each of you and your staff!
