Dr. Muenchow. How can you rate saving a sons life? Easy, thats what she did. My son Julian was born with a diaphragmatic hernia. She just so happened to be in the hospital I was delivering my son on July 4th 1990. He went into respiratory failure at birth and rushed into the NICU unit at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Doctor Muenchow happened to be requested to come down to see our son. Her attire was a big Mickey Mouse shirt and explained what she felt was wrong with our son and rushed him off to surgery. Well after a few hours, our son spent the next few weeks in the hospital. 29 years later, we have had the joy of loving this beautiful soul. This was a brand new procedure, a mesh net made in the form of the diaphragm that Dr. Muenchow invented. We were truly blessed that she was there that day to save his life. Grateful even after all these years is an understatement.

Dr. Muenchow is an amazing doctor who is very compassionate to all her patients. She goes above and beyond to help save your child. If other doctors tell you there is no hope. Visit Dr. Muenchow. She has relocated to Texas. I can only say that I have referred other families who were given no hope and she took on their cases.She's a blessing and it was a honor to have her in Los Angeles for the time we had her.
