Dr. Sharon Lynn Miller

First the good: Dr. Miller is very thorough and took time to explain the results of my testing to me. She provided me with many resources to find out about and support for people with my diagnosis. Now the not so good: I had to wait two months for an appointment. Once I had the initial interview, the testing appointments were scheduled promptly. She said the results would take six weeks. At the six week mark she emailed me that she had scored the tests but would not write for formal report until my insurance company paid her which took another month. Once she was paid she claimed she had two "emergency" cases ahead of me. It took 3 months until I finally got my results. I asked her to send the report to two mental health practitioners and provided her with their fax numbers, yet neither provider received the results. I brought the results with me and their office made a copy, but it would have been helpful if they had the chance to read the report before my appointments.

Great listener, kind, compassionate & intelligent. Coming from a medical professional, she knows her stuff.

First let me say I have NOT seen this doctor, but the lack of compassion I received when trying to make an appt was enough. I explained to the person that answered the phone (supposedly the office manager) that I have issues with depression and concentration and think I need to be tested. She loudly scoffed at me and said "You think?!" She said it would be 2 months until I could be seen but I'm going to find an office that practices more kindness and consideration.

I am so impressed with Dr. Miller. She is warm and nurturing and put my very anxious daughter at ease. Her diagnosis of my daughter was spot on after our first meeting. Her report was extensive and thorough and she took the time to explain all the results. You can tell she is a true professional and I am very grateful how she helped my daughter.
