I was in horrible pain. When I had my appointment several months ago, he asked me to lay down on the table during the exam. I told him that it would hurt very much to do that. He had me do it anyway. After several minutes, he said that there was nothing he could do for me. I also provided him with my MRI. The radiologist who read it missed an enormous tumor in my spinal column. Dr. Shah also missed the tumor. His job entails removing tumors. He was unable to find the tumor knowing my unusual symptoms. I was in extreme pain leaving his office and ended up crying hysterically when I got to my car. He showed zero empathy. I was in horrible pain. Wouldn't have had my operation done with anyone else the Dr is very professional he makes you feel at ease

The staff is awesome. I been seeing Dr siddiqi for a long time. I'm happy with him and the staff they helpful.

Great staff and it nice to know if an doctor who will spend that extra time with a patient if needed. Not a mill house.

The Doctor was okay and charming but the office staff have no interest in following up and seeing patients!. They don’t care if you come back again, I have been waiting on a scheduled MRI for 2 months and have called the staff REPEATEDLY and no one is interested or concerned.. I keep getting the run around “them saying you’ll be scheduled in 24hrs” and nothing!! 2 months have passed and still fighting to get scheduled!. And that’s with HAVING INSURANCE!!.. I hate to see how they treat Non insurance people!

Plan on waiting an hour or more past your appointment time. Last time I waited 1.5 hours and left with out seeing him. My time is as important to me as his is to him. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was. The doctor is always smiling and makes you feel comfortable. The ladies in the front are awesome and keep everything moving smoothly. They answer your questions with a cheerful attitude. That means a lot when you are in pain or anxious about the next step. I also enjoyed the staff at Methodist where he performed my surgery. The doctor and his staff have been some of the nicest most helpful health care professionals I have had the pleasure of meeting. They really took the time to explain my pain and give me solid advice. I once got my appointment date and time wrong and they tried their best to fit me into their busy schedule and for this I am most grateful for because I had just traveled an hour to be at their office. Each visit was an hour or more wait! Dr.Siddiqi has a poor bedside manner and doesn't do a very good job of explaining procedures. He did successful surgery on my lower back, however I did get a staff infection that required several additional weeks of care by another specialist. I feel he may be a good surgeon, but I would not really recommend him because of my experience through several office visits. Each visit was an hour or more wait! 13 yrs pain free

I had surgery by Dr. Siddiqi on Oct . 27 , 2017 thinking that my surgery would repair my condition of severe weakness in my back to the extent that I hardly had any balance to walk . I regret having the surgery done but Dr. Siddiqi want to operate on my neck now. I lost trust and I will always research much more extensively before allow anyone to do surgery again !

I found out about Dr. Siddiqi from a friend who was operated on by him and he could not say enough positive things about Dr. Siddiqi and his staff. From my first visit to after my lower back surgery, every encounter was great. I was extremely nervous about having back surgery and, after having it, I can't say enough positive things. He was the first and only physician who sat down and explained my MRI to me.

Dr Siddiqi is a wonderful caring physician. He treating my back pain and got me feeling much better within a very short period of time. His office staff is the BEST.

Dr. Siddiqi performed laser surgery to repair herniated discs, spine cyst, spinal stenosis on Dec. 14, 2014. I was in tremendous pain, could barely walk, needing a cane. I was in pain after surgery for awhile, had physical therapy (which I continue to this day to stay spine strong). Everyday, I thank God for Dr. Siddiqi and his staff. His caring heart and skilled hands literally saved my life!! Words cannot express my gratitude. For the lady still in pain, go back and try again.Nothing to lose

Dr. Shad Siddiqi performed back surgery on me on 5/23/16. Before the surgery I could walk a city block & stand for several minutes before the pain began. After the surgery I was hospitalized for 5 months. I had MRSA, massive blood clots in my leg & permanent nerve damage & will have to wear a brace for the rest of my life. I cannot walk even half a block or stand for over 45 seconds without pain. His response: Everything I did was perfect. Call me when you are ready for more surgery.

Worst doctor I ever visited. From patient with L5-S1 disc extrusion of 12 mm. Hope this review will help him to change his manners. Not easy Appointment 3 weeks. Waiting time in the office more than 1 hour. Poor service. Dr. Shah Siddiqi, Neurosurgeon who received BS with Honors and owns the Texas Spine Center is the worse doctor I ever visited. Terrible manners! Interested only in money. Zero interest in the case. I can not believe he gets good reviews. Scheduling is not easy, 3 weeks (called September 29, got appointment for October 16). Waiting time in his office horrible more than one and half hour, in my case standing with pain. I am leaving in Texas in The woodlands area. I have L5-S1 disc extrusion of 12 mm, suffering from strong pain scale 10 since 3 weeks, without having the capacity of sitting in any chair, with thinness and burning pain in my back, buttock and whole right leg and more. I decided to visit this neurosurgeon because he works with decompressions DRX9000 and has an office in my area ( I did not know that he visits The Woodlands office only every 2 weeks, by the way is another horrible place and he does not offers decompression in The Woodlands or other services) - I visited this office as well looking for physical therapy service meanwhile I could visit him on October 16. Starting from the dirty waiting room of office located in Northwest Houston Office Willowbrook Professional Complex, 13323 Dotson Rd, Suite 100; with dead cockroach, really dirty carpet, broken water dispenser and the examination office with fire ants running in the window, finishing by his bad manners of not showing any interest in my case or concern and his dirty white? doctor’s coat. He did not spent any effort in opening the MRI in advance. He was asking for MRI that was already loaded in his laptop, he did not wanted to listen to my problem and pain evolution and he closed his iPad immediately after I mentioned that I started Lordex decompression treatment in Conroe, location that is 1 hour from his office. He immediately asked me how much I am paying for Lordex treatment. His attitude shows that he is only interested in money and not in getting a new client for DRX9000 decompression or helping a patient to solve the problem. He could have explained to me the differences on treatments and recommend other solutions. I was looking mainly for advice in decompression and which other solutions he can offered for my disc extrusion to relief pain and getting me back to normal life. What I got was a strong pain for been sitting in the car for more than 2 hours, and waiting for 1 ½ hour in his office, to know how bad this doctor is. I will not recommend this doctor- I am really disappointed form a neurosurgeon with such bad attitude. Now I trust one of the reviews dated in Dec 27th, 2013, from one of his patients that said, DO NOT GET IN HIS HANDS, had surgery with him and had blood clot almost right away. To anyone considering using this doctor....DON'T. This man nearly killed me. His lack of care and concern after surgery nearly cost me my life. This man never once came to see me after surgery. I developed a blood clot almost as soon as I woke up. No one listened to me in the hospital and he never came to check on me. Sent me home and had to have an emergency surgery 3 days later to remove a huge blood clot on my spine that has left me with permanent nerve damage and partial paralysis in my left leg. This man in my opinion is an awful doctor. He does not care about his patients at all just cut and run. Think long and hard before you let this man cut on you.
