Not helpful at all, instead of decreasing my depression I felt more alone then ever. I felt like he didn't understand me and kept telling me things I already knew. He did not give me any information on how to deal or cope with things in my life all he said were things like "you need help" or "I'm sorry that happened to you" or "do you have a job". I literally felt alone, more depressed and frustrated after speaking to him, my conversation went no where and I kept repeating myself because he did not remember anything. If you want to get better please do not go to him!!
