Dr. Seyed Ali Mostoufi

I met 3 different spine/nerve specialists for a herniated neck disc. I got results from none, and Dr. Mostoufi was the least helpful. He rushed though a 15 min. appt. that cost $268.48 even though it only involved talking--no labs. I felt like I'd been scammed. In the end, I found a good chiropractor/PT team and am ~80% recovered without the injections/surgery recommended by the specialists.

Best pain management Dr. I've ever had. Has a superb bedside manner and his staff is also top notch. Dr. Mostoufi has taken me from daily chronic pain to years of pain free life. I'm 75 and finally have long spans of pain free and WITH NO MEDICATION to keep pain at bay. He has given my life back.

in this time of Covid, it was VERY difficult to finalmy get to see Dr. M. in person. However, he rapidly made clear his deep knowledge of the spine and he explained very clearly the operations of the perioheral nerves, and how RF ablation may help my lower back pain (crushed L1 due to osteoporosis and an excessive effort, then had Kyphoplasty 4 months later). However, as soon as the technical part was clear to me (or so I hope), he was out the door without even a goodbye... Although my core grouo of doctors is at BIDMC, I am very likely to have this procedure done by Dr. M. - although I would want some assurance that he will be easier to get to after the procedure, just in case... it's an essential part of my comfort.

Dr. Mostoufi is one of the best Drs. I've ever seen. He really knows his stuff and it was such a relief to finally see someone who knows about referred pain and can make sense of a pain pattern. I had a cortisone shot a few days ago and am very optimistic.

Dr. Mostoufi is a very knowledgeable and great doctor. He takes time with you and explains everything to you in a clear and precise manner. I would recommend Dr. Mostoufi to anyone having back or spine issues.

I have been seeing Dr Mostoufi for about one year. Initially, I was very excited to have met a doctor who really seemed interested in my well being and finding a source and cure for my pain. However, things changed early this past Spring (2016) when he abruptly announced that he was no longer going to be prescribing medications or seeing patients on an on-going basis. With no help or assistance in placing me in the care of another pain doctor, I've been abondoned. Did he lose his license???
