Seturam Pandurangi

Dr. Pandurangi is one of the most incompetent doctors I have ever encountered. My son having severe asthma and allergies, he's been treated by hundreds of physicians and nurses from CA to MI so I know what good care looks like. I would take off from work and remove my son from school for appointments and this doctor refused to continue the testing process because my son had a mild expiratory wheeze. The wheeze was constant, at the time, and it was the point of going to his office. I informed him that I would like to move forward with the process and he accused me of endangering my child's life. I was listed as irate for advocating for my son. We end up in a hospital every Easter due to spring allergies and I wanted to prevent my son from going through that again. Oral corticosteroids are harmful if they are used too frequently so I was hoping to avoid that if possible. I left that office vowing to never return. Fortunately, I was referred to another immunologist by the pumonologist my son is seeing. Dr. Lien thought my son was a good candidate for a biologic treatment after only the 2nd visit. Hallelujah! My son started the biologic treatment and hasn't had an exacerbation in over 2 years. The drive to Castro Valley every 2 weeks was worth it, but I was hoping to find a competent immunologist closer than an hour away. Against my better judgment, I called Dr. Pandirangi to ask if he could continue the treatment my son was on. He responded that we’d have to start all over again with the testing. I was shocked though I don't know why. Dr. Pandurangi should have his license to practice medicine revoked. My son could have died waiting on this man to figure out what was wrong with him. I would give him zero stars if I could."
