Dr. Sein Moe

Waited over an hour and was rudely told that I wasn’t the only consultation at that time. Went to them because they are in my very good dental plan, and was told that the evaluation was medical, not dental. I have a very comprehensive medical plan that they said they do not accept. I was charged $150. One front desk staff said I was there for an extraction, which I was not, and the other said I was there for an evaluation, which I was. Chaos between them. It should be their responsibility to let everyone know, before their appointment, that they will be responsible for their $150 evaluation fee. The eval took 5 minutes. Not sure if he is a good doctor, but based on the reviews, I won’t be returning.

I’ll be generous and give 2 stars. Had an appointment at 3 pm still waiting with a full room of patients at 3:30. Only reason I came here was a referral by my general dentist. My time is also valuable, I showed up on time and expect the dentist to do same ! This dentistry overbooks and the hell with the patient, sit, shut up, & wait. I was a Bull among the sheep & left ! Obviously there is no respect here for the patient ! It’s all about overbooking and $$$$$ Wasn’t told they charge an osha fee WOW I never would have showed up from the beginning

Unethical $30 per visit upcharge for "extended OSHA safety precautions" when nothing about visit was different. Aren't you supposed to sanitize between each patient? Aren't you supposed to use disposable items where possible, and I know there are laws about biological / hazardous waste.. Why wouldn't you "build the cost of keeping our patients and staff safe" into your standard treatment fees? Oh.. And the new policy is not posted anywhere, but they give you this (image) if you notice the charge... Staff have no inclination what they are doing , visited their office several times requesting an itemized treatment plan after my visit with dr. Moe , they failed to provide a properly prepared plan . Particular staff there was very rude , disrespectful, and has an utterly disgusting attitude .

Incredibly unprofessional. They are currently trying to cover up one of their mistakes and not pay for the costs of leaving GAUZE in someone’s mouth…resulting in an infection. Scam of a business and they should be ashamed. Take responsibility for your actions!!!!!!! Do not go here.

I will NEVER set foot in this office again. They cancelled my extraction the day of surgery which was extremely inconvenient. I didn’t find out until I was outside the office door. Dr. Moe also doesn’t really care about your time. He was 30 min late arriving to my consult, 2 hr wait when I took my daughter there for a follow up AND he was really late showing up to her surgery. If you let me know this ahead of time Im ok but to be told the Dr will be right in and then wait soooo long makes me downright irritated! They charge YOU for PPE which I have never heard of in my life. I’m a three strikes and your out person and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. They lied about the office manager not being there when I asked to speak to one saying “she’s not here today”. Yet “she” was in. Don't like to complain, however my 100+ year old aunt lost 2 crowns recently. Since we have gone to Dr. Daniak (his wife), I called Dr. Moe's office. She had NO PAIN. $605 later - he took a full mouth x-ray and a CT scan. Then scheduled extractions. I took her to our primary physician because I was concerned about extractions at her age. He referred me to his DDS - took 2 spot x-rays of those areas - turns out - one tooth root has had a root canal, so will NEVER get an infection. The other tooth root is so so well-contained, that he recommended periodic x-ray or that area or if she feels discomfort. Total bill this week was $800 to be assured that my first response was to do nothing! Costly assurance. Out of my personal pocket, by the way, since my aunt has very limited income. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this operation. Con man stealing money from patients for services not performed. It has been an insurance nightmare

First off, let me start by saying that I never usually take the time to write reviews.. but my experience with Dr. Moe was absolutely AWFUL. Please notice all of the bad reviews below and take them all into consideration before you see Dr.Moe.. you'll do yourself a huge favor by staying as far away from him as possible.

My children and I have been patients if Dr. Moe for 20 years. People complaining about the wait time don’t realize that he often has emergencies that he treats between scheduled appointments. Anyone who has ever experienced the excruciating pain of a tooth that needs extracted can understand needing to have it done as soon as possible. I am grateful for the kindness he demonstrates.

Took my child to have 2 teeth extracted. One was all crumbled. The DR is just amazing. Calmed my kid down. Talked to him. Great procedure. Now we can all talk about front desk..( they were fine with us) but get your pricings at the consultation,see if you like them and let Dr Sein do a great job.Im glad there is such a Dr around. Even called us personally to check on us. Thank you!

I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed in a single session with Dr Moe. This has been an unbelievably painless and pleasant experience. I’m afraid of doctors, needles, dentists and everything related to it and the experience with Dr. Moe was nothing like I expected. I was sedated and when I woke up the procedure was done. Perfect recovery haven’t feel anything at all. I went to my appointment with my mom as a companion and to this date she is still marveled at the craftsmanship of the whole procedure even as an anesthesiologist for 35 years. I wouldn’t even think of going with anyone else. Staff is professional and courteous and Dr. Moe is very calming and skilled. Highly recommend. I was doubtful after reading the reviews but he took my insurance and my dentist referred me so I went. I'm glad I did. He was very professional, explained everything in detail and his financial staff explained my insurance to me so that I was aware of what my insurance paid and what I had to pay. Sure, I had to wait some but not any more than when I go to any other doctor office. Went back for surgery and I recovered quickly. Dr even called to check on me the night of surgery. I hope I never have to have a tooth pulled again but if I do I will go back to him. He gets 5 stars from me.

Finally had my procedure with Dr Moe I have Leukemia so Dr Moe had me take 3 Blood test to make sure all was good. I arrived at 7am and was taken into the operation room at 7:15am. They prepped me and Dr Moe came in at 7:30am and we discussed the procedure My lower wisdom teeth were impacted and both has large cysts that needed to come out as well Dr Moe told me that both teeth are very close to the nerve and I could have permanent numbness and tingling on the lower side of my face when he takes them out The other option he told me was to cut the tooth off and leave the root. This way I would not have the permanent numbness. Once the tooth was cut off and it would be lose then he would have to remove it We went that route. Took the top of the tooth off and left the root. All in all I am doing ok following the post procedures with Ice and taking the med he told me to take Have not gotten to the pain killers as I am trying to avoid more drugs in my system. This place is an absolute scam . I went in for consultation for my wisdom teeth extraction . I waited for an hour for him to come in and tell I needed my wisdom teeth surgically removed , something I already knew. On top of this they quoted me wrong . They wanted to charge me 2800 for the surgery on top of what my insurance was already paying so I decided to have it done elsewhere . Now two months later ,I am receiving a bill in the amount of $50 for that consultation after they had already charged my insurance and told me I had no outstanding balance . Dr. Moe Sein is a very nice, down-to-earth doctor whom extracted two of my wisdom teeth. Everything went smoothly and I was pleased with my visits as well as the results. Staff is friendly and keep you up-to-date on the process and fees regarding surgery. Building is very well-kept and clean. I am happy overall and recommend anyone needing oral surgery to visit here. Had a consultation and x-ray done to get my wisdom teeth removed. I waited an hour to be seen (should've been my first hint). After i was see, i was charged close to $300. Afterwards they submitted a claim to my insurance and assigned it to themselves. After speaking with my insurance they stated that the check should have been filed for me, not the dentist office since i paid for the cost up front. I've called several times and they dentist office has still not provided me with the check. I verified again with my insurance company who said they sent the dentist office the check over a week ago. Excellent doctor and really nice staff

Dr. Sein was personally available when I needed a different medication at close to midnight. No complications and healed well.

Dr. Moe is an excellent surgeon. He did a great job on both of children’s wisdom teeth. They healed well with no complications. However, the fro t office staff is less than stellar. The girls were rude, interrupted patients, rolled their eyes, and one of the employee reprimanded another employee unprofessionally in front of he patients. There is a HUGE wait time (45-60 min) with no explanation from staff.

Dr mor is very good, reasonable & friendly! Follows up with his patients and cares about his patients well being! Highly recommend! GW

Arrived on time for an 11 AM appointment. After 40 minutes I asked the receptionist when we would be seen, she brushed me off. When I complained Again they brought me in a room and let me wait there. I left after an hour and was laughed at by the receptionist when I complained. Do not to go to this place! Or, if you do, plan to sit and wait.

So glad I read these reviews prior to going to his office. My dentist, Dr. Dainiak, who just happens to be his wife, referred me to him for a consultation. She assured me the consultation would be free of charge, but after reading these reviews, I called to confirm. They informed me that the consultation fee would be $150. What a joke! Dainiak was misleading at best, dishonest at worse. Stay away from these guys, their only interest is getting money out of you.

My experience with this office was horrible. They didn't check to see when my $150 x-rays were covered by insurance (the x-rays would have been covered if the apptmt. was made 3 weeks later than it was), and so I had to spend 1 hour on the phone with their office and my insurer before my insurer agreed to pay for the x-rays. I had already sent in a check to Dr. Sein so I called and told them not to cash it. And then they cashed it after agreeing not to. I am still trying to get my money back.

Beware, choose another oral surgeon, Dr. Moe is a scam artist and very good at it!!! Their goal is to schedule multiple appointments so they can continually charge you even if the services could be done in one appointment. They told me I needed a CT scan to remove one tooth, charged me $377 in addition to what they billed my insurance and didn't remove the tooth, told me I had to come back. I've waited over a week for a response, called back three times and still no response. I had to go to another doctor to finally have the tooth removed. Had a consultation two weeks ago and my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday under IV sedation. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Moe and his wonderful assistant (wish I caught her name.) The care I received from this practice was top of the line! Dr.Moe personally called last night to check on me after surgery.

overcharged for a simple tooth extraction. Had full mouth X-ray , and then was charged for some "plug" that he said he DIDNT do, yet I was charged $350 extra, and NO ONE would explain it to me! wish I had read the other reviews before I went... was also charged $125 for a consultation! before deciding which ave to take, I went to dentist, endodontist and no one charged me for a consultation!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE Dr. Moe is a good oral surgeon. BUT his office is out of control. My husband was charged over $ 1,100 before the procedure without any explanation as to how this figure was determined. After the surgery, he was sent a bill for $ 3,400. This office was incapable of properly filing dental and medical insurance claims. Diana screened all my letters and calls to Dr. Moe. There are too many good Oral Surgeons out there to get involved with this office.

Great experience! Little pain and quick recovery from tooth extraction as well as comprehensive explanations on the procedure to be performed.

Had a difficult, horizontal tooth to remove. He was very careful, explained everything, and walked me through the process. He definitely made me feel at east.

Doctor Moe is very gentle and patient. He explains everything before, durning and after your procedure. Doctor Moe listens to your questions and takes time with you. I am a nervous patient and he and his staff make me feel safe. Mary Ann is the first person you see when you enter and she is calming and so kind. She will go out of her way to make your experience better. I would recommend Doctor Moe and all of his staff to anyone. Thank you all!

I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Moe and the whole experience was painless and fast, never even used the pain prescription. I didn't swell up like my friends told me I would and I healed quickly. Dr. Moe even called to check up after the procedure. Very pleased.

Dr. Moe was referred by my family dentist for an extraction. I was given an afternoon appointment for two days in advance. Upon my timely arrival for my scheduled appointment, I waited for over an hour and a half without any update from the office staff. Each of the nine chairs in the waiting room was occupied and one patient even had to stand. There were no emergencies to account for the wait other than pure greed by Dr. Moe to squeeze in as many patients as possible.
