Amazing experience all the way around. This has been one of my best experiences at any medical facility. I would strongly recommend Dr Ruggeri. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He let me know exactly what my options were and I was able to make an informed decision.

Clearly an extremely experienced doctor who REALLY knows his stuff. Very nice person too, which doesn't always go together with being a good doc! And the staff are nice, polite & helpful. I definitely recommend Dr Ruggieri.

Dr.Ruggerri is a great doctor in every way,! He spends time listening to the patient ,explains things in detail and never leaves you in the dark. He's very expert and I trust him 100%. He is excellent with carpal tunnel and all areas of the arm and shoulder.

I recently had surgery and I have been attending my appointments. However it is impossible to get through when calling. I just called the office and was put on hold twice and a staff member hung up on me twice. I called back a third time and was put on hold then a staff member picked up the phone and said in a rude tone "THE OFFICE IS CLOSED UNTIL 1:30 PM CALL BACK then hung up in my face. I like this Dr. R. & the staff there are friendly enough. There is an issue with cleanliness because of piece of dried up bloodied gauze that was lying about. The operation that was performed did relieve the numbness in my hand which was I am very happy with. But it didn't conquer the other issue that brought me to him originally. I still have to go back for another visit. We'll see if they can go from 3 stars to 5. Till then... I like this Dr. R. & the staff there are friendly enough. I had been bitten by a baby rattlesnake up in New River the ulnar nerve decompression procedure you performed on me was cutting edge at the time. Sir if not for you I would never have returned to my normal life. Or playing my guitar I have continued to work for nearly 20 years since that day and I love You for that. Dr. Ruggeri , saved my arm 20yrs ago then .He did corrective nerve surgery @ more. when my hands started going numb@ extremely painful I find out i have carpel tunner in both hand i get my left hand fixed. Dr Ruggeri has been nothing but amazing for us. Not sure where all these negative reviews are coming from. My son was born with syndactyly on both hands. So basically his middle and ring fingers on both hands were fused together. His hands look amazing!! His team is also amazing.

I love this doctor's office. I loved that as soon as I came into this doctor's office they took the time to recheck my MRI not just read the report, do a physical exam, and take immediate action to help me heal. I ended up having to get wrist surgery, but I felt so comfortable and confident with the quality of doctors. I'm still healing, and I feel like the course of treatment and recovery are very clear. Brilliant and experienced I found Dr. Ruggeri to be quite creative and able to think far beyond being limited to the SURGERY DU JOIR, after four other hand surgeons led me to say to my wife, January 2017, over lunch,"I think I should see one more surgeon before going to New York". According to them both hands needed fusion-goodbye golf and canoe fishing, etc!. After remarkably successful, and far less complicated surgeries, by Dr. Ruggeri, I golf, and fish with out the long healing times and loss of motion the others would have done without thinking about the patient. See any MD you wish but I implore you to at least see him for a second opinion, I DID!

This is my experience he did my 3 surgery and the handgirl he left a piece of of carpal bone put heavy stiches told me they stay forever went got a second dr he has to fuse the wrist remove all the carpal bones I even sent dr s.r a copy of ct scan with paper work and he has not responded to me ????

As a registered nurse who works primarily emergency medicine I can sympathize with injury and the stress it causes while maintaining kindness, compassion, and human kindness. Unfortunately, Dr Ruggieri lacks all of these traits. After one appointment I found myself a different provider hoping for better explanations, options, and someone who didn’t, quite frankly, man handle my broken & mangled injury. As someone who is knowledgeable in health care, I’d like everyone to know you have options for other providers. And, as a side note, his front end staff were rude & short making this visit even more unpleasant from the beginning, and he charges $35-50 to fill out FMLA paperwork, something I’ve NEVER encountered in my 10 years in healthcare. Truly a sign he’s more concerned about taking you for every penny vs providing high quality compassionate care. Worst staff ever! The only two people that I enjoy seeing are Pedro and Gary. The front desk lady is rude. Gave me attitude when I went to pick up my medical records and said “well did I call you to tell you it was done?” I said no I was told they would be ready the next day and get response was “well you’re supposed to wait for a call” I talked to Steven the day prior and he said it would have been done by the next morning and I went right before they closed and it still wasn’t ready I had to wait 20 minutes for them to be printed. They also CHARGED ME for my records! I have had 5 surgeries and countless medica visits and they needed to charge me for my records. I have never been charged and they wouldn’t bill my insurance company! Here comes the best part! When I was looking through the packet with my medical records I found a paper with another patients information !!! Talk about HIPPA violation ! Dr. Rugerri is pretty good but needs way better staff! Dr.Reggeri saved my hand after being cut off in car accident. He performed several surgeries over the past year, and each time my hand improves. He’s kind, caring and professional!

I had a crushed injury on my right hand. I was told I probably would have nerve damage. This was in the 2000s, my nerves are healed now and I have feeling. No one can see the injury as if it didn't happen. Dr Ruggeri did a excellent job.

Dr. Ruggeri has treated me and my family. I have nothing bad to say about any of the providers nor his staff. The treatment was excellent and I am pain free with tendonits of both elbows. Worst pain ever. My mother and father and sister both have had surgery by Dr. Ruggeri and had excellent results. His staff is very pleasant and go out of their way in any way needed. Very plesant office. I would recomment this office to anyone. Getting a appointment right away really helps. No waiting.

My elderly mother has seen Dr Ruggeri for the past 8 years including surgeries on trigger fingers, carpel surgery, etc. I would 100% recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon. Every surgery has been a success. He is an excellent Dr!

Broken finger wasnt in much pain but after surgery the pain is way worst the numbness will not go away an its been 2 weeks...front desk lady socializes wit co workers more then work...horrible dr office

Lived with an injured wrist for 7 years. This guy did my wrist surgery and I can barely handle the constant pain now. Plan on waiting a minimum of 45 min at appointment time. It took less time to heal when I first hurt my wrist . It has also caused new pains in the shoulder and elbow of said wrists arm. I am far worse than before surgery and that was 1 1/2 yrs ago. Initially the staff was unfriendly and unprofessional and the Dr.needed better bedside manners, but at least that changed within the past several months. He was recommended as one of the best but I would have to disagree. This is my opinion based on my experience. Lived with an injured wrist for 7 years. Dr. Riggeri is awesome but his front office, staff not so great. I have been hung up on 2 times in the last 3 days. I had extensive hand surgery 4 months ago. I started having really bad pain and almost no use of my hand for 2 weeks. The normal front office lady, Jessica (who is really great) went on vacation and because the office staff is too lazy, they put you on hold and then disconnect the call. I was involved in a car accident. I was transferred from one hospital to a trauma center. The Doctors there wanted to do an emergency surgery on both of my broken shoulder blades. I asked for my Orthopedic Doctor come in and give me a second opinion. The trauma center immediately released me. I went to see Dr. Ruggeri and he advised against the surgery, but with medication and not using my shoulders above my head and lots of time they would heal. I highly recommend Dr. Rugerri and his staff.

I was referred to Dr. Ruggeri after an auto accident for fractures in my dominant hand and wrist. The first appointment was a bit further out than I wanted but it was worth the wait. Dr. R, Gary the PA, the medical assistant, the receptionist and everyone I have come into contact with have all been top notch. They are thorough, considerate, friendly and knowledgeable. I have received terrific care and would highly recommend Dr. Ruggeri and his whole team!

Was referred by desert hand therapy.. I’ve had two surgery from Dr. Ruggeri and everything went great .. id definitely refer him as I have . I’m having a tricep tendon transfer next and I’m sure everything will go as well as my other ones. Thank you

The staff at Dr. Ruggeri are nice but Dr. Ruggeri himself has a disconnection with his patients. After more than 4 appt with no help, I am now going to a different doctor. I have had a torn rotator cuff for over a year. Dr. Ruggeri is not any closer to scheduling my surgery. I can’t help but feel that he is more concerned about making money than helping his patients. I recommend going anywhere else but here. I hope my review helps others avoid the situation I am in. Thanks

I love this doctor! He saved my son's hand! My teenager was really badly injured late one evening. His thumb was hanging by a thread & there was blood everywhere! When we arrived at the ER, the tirage nurse did not put my mind at ease when I asked if my child would spend the rest of his life without his digit. Dr. R was called in and he was wonderful; reassuring us that my son would have use of his hand again even before going into surgery. 8 wks later and amazingly, my son is as good as before!

I do not know if Dr. Ruggeri was having a bad day or what is going on. Although, I have several dibilitating issue with my upper extremities that are most due to my neck issues. Dr. Ruggeri out of the blue acted as if he knew nothing of my neck issues, back issues so on and so forth. As he says, "You are the only patient I have who has been on pain medication longer than any other. Insisting that I go through the APR Therapy and proof I am pain free. Ah, NO! CREATED MORE PAIN! So DISAPPOINTED!

Nice guy, seems knowl dgeable. Has a bad habit of overbooking Times. Today I waited 45 minutes, and then after asking, I was told probably another 45 minutes. I drove thru a rain storm, total 1.5 hrs because of storm, normally a one hr drive. Was told by his stafff this is "normal". This is unacceptable. Will try one more time with "first" appt after lunch, in 2 more weeks. I do not have a good few,no abt this.

Dr. Ruggeri repaired my rotator cuff. I was very worried because I heard so many people say they never stopped hurting but I can tell you I am so much better. I should have done it sooner. Dr. Ruggeri is very thorough and explained everything so I knew what he was going to do. I would do it again.

I had finger surgery and Dr. Ruggeri seemed quite knowledge about the entire procedure. I actually dealt more with his PA than him who seemed to be equally excellent . The office staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Worst doctor ever!!!!! I waited over an hour past my appointment to see this so called doctor. I am in extreme pain and he tells me to sleep with a pillow attached to my arm and prescribes pain pills??? I dont want pain pills. I want to get to the root of my problems and fix them if possible. Not cover them up with pain pills!!!!!!!!! Not to mention his staff fooling around and making fun of patients. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!
