Dr. Sean Michael Thoms

This is going to be a long review, but I have so much to say. For starters, this is the fourth dentist, third pediatric specialist dentist that my 5 year old daughter has been to for her major tooth problems due to enamel issues causing a lot of cavities and overall tooth discomfort and issues. The previous 2 offices we went to for this issue both said we would end up in the ER with my daughter (we went to Children's least March) before they could do anything to help her. Both offices were more concerned with financials and putting us through a bunch of paperwork obstacles without so much as a time when her pain inducing problems could be remedied. My fiance fought for a referral for someone else to help us and our daughter after they again told us the ER would be inevitable and they couldn't prescribe anything to help my daughter's severe pain. They referred us to this office and our initial visit was supposed to be on 4-3, but today my daughter had her surgery she needed after her evaluation last week with Dr. Thoms. Immediately the staff of this office was so caring and concerned about the pain my daughter was in that they moved up her appointment in order to get her seen. Finally after a year long battle with dentists over helping my daughter she is finally pain free and we have a solid game plan for her and so many of her issues were resolved today. Every single person in that office from reception, to the hygienists, and to Dr Thoms himself was incredibly caring, patient, informative, and more than willing to work with us financially during this hard time with the virus and both of us not working. We have good insurance but the type of work my daughter needed was still expensive and today we left knowing exactly what we paid for and what our next visit will cost us. One of the girls walked us to our car once my daughter woke up from anesthesia and Dr. Thoms called my fiance this evening to make sure Ava was doing good and recovering as expected. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my little girl received the absolute best care and as a mom it makes me so emotional, but we 100% trust this office with our daughter's health and can guarantee she will be a patient with them for a really long time. They even looked forward to seeing my daughter's baby dolls and stuffed animals and provided them with excellent care too ;) This is going to be a long review, but I have so much to say. HATE GOING TO DENTIST and have avoided going for such a long time! I HATED THE DENTIST UNTIL I FOUND DR.THOMS ! The whole dental office made me feel at ease. I couldn’t even sit in the dental chair at first because MY ANXIETY IS SOO BAD! Now after a few dental visits, I can finally say I like going to the dentist!!! I thought I would never ever say that.
