I saw the NP and was very disappointed. She downplayed all my symptoms and shut down my questions I had about my treatment. She literally rolled her eyes at me when I brought up what a different doctor suggested I do to treat my Hashimoto's. All she suggested for me to do was ro continue to do what I was already doing. Then, over six months later, I get call from a collection agency stating that my bill with this office was in collections. I never received a bill because they had sent it to an address I hadn't lived at in 2 years. Horrible experience!

I was seen by Dr. Hamlett a couple of days ago and walked away with saying, “Wow!” I was so appreciative of his empathy, expertise, and professionalism. He took the time to be sure I understood what was transpiring and answered every question I had. I also greatly appreciated he doing the ultrasound and walking me through what he was perceiving. I’m very thankful to have been referred to Dr. Hamlett!

HORRIBLE PATIENT CARE. PRESCRIBED MEDS FOR HUSBAND AND TOLD HE HAD TO TAKE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE EVERYDAY OR COULD POSSIBLY END UP WITH CANCER AMONG OTHER TERRIBLE SYMPTOMS. MY HUSBAND MISSED SOME APPOINTMENTS AND WAS NEVER TOLD THAT MISSING APPOINTMENTS WOULD RESULT IN CANCELLING HIM AS A PATIENT. THE DOCTOR IS NOW REFUSEING TO GIVE THE LIFE SAVING MEDS AND TOLD HIM TO FIND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. WHICH AT THE MOMENT HE STILL DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO GET IT. Been seeing Dr. Hamlett for maybe 3-4 years. He personally had his own health issues couple years ago which caused my appointments to be rescheduled couple times-this year had to reschedule because it was in conflict with his vacation-even though I had the appointment months before. . . Had to reschedule just to get blood work completed ended up going to PC doctor to get the actual blood work I wanted. Last week I got delayed for my 1030 appointment, was there at 1038 - walked by the good Doctor Hamlett in the hallway over hearing him talking about his Son’s Sports to two other patients… so thinking no problem since the Doctor has time to converse with others in the hall about spots must not be too busy - go to check in for my appointment only to be turned away because I had not arrived 10 minutes prior to my 1030 appointment… now I get it and understand the need for scheduling but given the conflicts and rescheduling requirements of me because of the Doctors own health I assumed they would have been a little more understanding especially given the casual nature of the Doctors conversation in the hallway just minutes before - naturally I was shocked and said “unbelievable” to the lady that was turning me away from my appointment. . . Then I turn around a say something about it being ridiculous that the Doctor could be just hanging out in the hallway but too busy to work me in. . . Too difficult for them I guess. Hands down Freeman's best Dr! Dr Hamlett sits and takes time to listen to his patients as well as explains everything. He has a calm and gentle bedside manner. Highly recommend.

Dr Hamlett has a calm and friendly bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients. He did his own ultrasound in his office. And sits down with his patients. Hands down Freeman's best Dr!

I had a bad experience today. The new receptionist wasn't friendly until her trainer came in, the nurse scolded me for not being there 20 minutes earlier, but I drove an hour and was in a downpour part of the way. The check in up front took 10 minutes. I was only 10 minutes after check in time. Then the Dr was friendly at first but couldn't do my ultra sound due to surgery. So after expressing my concerns, I asked why I was there and he said, "Because I need to get paid. I don't do this for my health!" I was shocked since I was just wanting to know when I would get my test, details, etc. He said this is the way it works. I thought the whole experience was negative, plus the lady who was setting up next appointments. Couldn't get her to understand that I needed an ultra sound now, not next year. Brother! Dr. Hamlett is a great Doctor who cares about his patients and listens to them. One of the best!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Hamlett for a few years now, and I couldn’t be happier. He listens and is great at answering any questions I may have. Dr Hamlett is also great at explaining things on what and why is is doing things in plain English without ever sounding like he is talking down to you.

Very knowledgeable, listens and explains in understandable terms. A extremely caring physician. I've been a patient for years.

Worst Endo Dr. Ever. I’m so glad I found a very competent Endo. It saved my life.

He is very concerned about your issues and he encourages you in whatever treatment he assigns. He is very friendly and he takes the time to listen and answer your questions.

I'm 64 and a PhD that doesn't write reviews often. Sean deserves this 5. Smart, helpful, professional yet personable, knows his stuff. His picture on this site looks nothing like him! I've been three times with a year in between.

He does not listen to your concerns. He has this condescending yet placating tone that got on my last nerve. He seemed to get very irritated when I asked questions especially when I mentioned that I had researched on the internet. I'm unclear as to why someone would be so threatened by a patient researching their disease. Time to find a new endocrinologist!

I wasted several years with Hamlett. I finally switched doctors and my new doctor changed my thyroid medicine and other things. I now have energy and feel like I have my life back! My new doctor doesn't dismiss me and tell me to go run around the block. I couldn't believe Hamlett's rudeness. I had many tear-filled appts with him. He lacks compassion. I thank the Lord daily, for my new doctor, who truly cares about the health of his patients. With Hamlett, I wasn't getting any better

I have had many great Endos over my 30+ years of being diabetic. Dr. Hamlett is a straight shooter and tells you how it, good and bad. Most importantly he celebrates the good as much as he tells you how to fix the bad.

Dr has taken control, ordered tests needed to find or diagnose condition.. has a plan, very knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. H reported that he follows current practice guidelines re. treatment of hypothyroidism. He clearly doesn't. He cites Harvard and current treatment guidelines in stating that only TSH level (not T3 T4 eg.) should be used in determining whether Synthroid should be used. He stated that some people with normal TSH levels think they feel better on Synthroid, and that he won't take them off if they come to him for treatment, but clearly Synthroid tx is not the reason.VERY outdated in tx approach
