Dr. Scott Arnold Young

Dr. Young is absolutely hands down a phenomenal doctor. He has a straight forward approach and is always geared to help. He is in the community services board so he is indeed a busy man (as is the entire clinic) but they always respond to requests. The staff there is always caring and professional. I have not had any bad experiences there. There may have been a few miscommunications, but never a bad experience.

Would give 0 stars if possible. If you are looking to pop a pill to treat a problem, and only require exactly 30 minutes or less of his time every 3 months—he is your guy. If you are genuinely looking for help with mental health, and care about your child’s wellbeing - look elsewhere!

Dr Young is fine if you’re switching to him from another psychiatrist and the meds are working. He’ll adjust those meds as needed. If you have any issues with your insurance, he tries to bully you into taking the easiest path for him, so he doesn’t have to deal with your insurance company. Nurses in the office are rude and go silent if you’re upset at all. I don’t recommend Dr Young unless you’ve got absolutely no one else to go to. I cannot express my Thanks for the Help Dr Young gave to Us. He is Truly Patient and Caring!! Before we went to him, We considered out of home Placements for our Child. Who for the 1st time is Learning, Thriving, and Focused in School!!! We Credit Dr Young for this wonderful change and needless to say that helps the whole family. We sincerely recommend Dr Young. Dr Young is such a Fantastic & very Efficient Dr !! He was so very Patience with us. Here we were seeing a different Dr & had been on a long rocky Journey with no end in sight. Dr Young Quickly rearranged things, & gave us the Correct Formula which has helped us so much. And we are extremely Grateful!!!
