Dr. Scott Lee Sailer

I was referred to Dr. Sailer and informed him and the staff there of my previous bad experiences with Duke affiliated medical care. I trusted the referring physician and gave Dr. Sailer a chance. I'm glad I did! He and the staff were nothing short of kind, understanding, and wonderful during my treatment. Everyone explained things in a manner that made it easy for me to understand (meaning not using tons of medical jargon that a layperson wouldn't know) and Dr. Sailer included me in making decisions about my treatment plan. He also has a good sense of humor which goes a long way with me. I hope to never have to give recommendations on radiation oncologists to anyone I know, but if I do, I certainly would recommend Dr. Sailer.

latest round of radiation has left my wife with complications such as shingles, inability to eat any solid food for two weeks. Cannot even tolerate a little water or ice chips. Currently at Wake Med Cary dying with little hope that doctors there can do anything for her. I cannot even find a listing for a "doctor Kim", who my wife said was treating her, on your website. Last I spoke with this woman, she was very pleased with herself on shrinking a tumor on her neck. Neither oncologist called us.

He was the one doctor who really seemed to care as my father went through his illness. He was patient and kind. My father felt treated as a person not a patient. His staff was wonderful.

Dr. Sailer treated me a real person, took his time, explained his position regarding my treatment, and was very available for follow up questions. His bedside manner is outstanding. I wish he could be my doctor for everything.

I have been extremely pleased with my visits with Dr. Sailer. His staff is very good and all people involved in mycare have been EXCELLENT!!!!
