Last I heard Dr Sackman had lost privileges at all the area hospitals so (assuming that is true) then take that with whatever caution you feel is warranted. To me, it would mean he is unable to work with other doctors and cannot appropriately provide complete care. My personal experience with this doctor is quite extensive, and spans ~two decades. At one point I felt he was abrasive but a good medical doctor so worth putting up with his poor manner. However, after he teated me for years for a brain injury only to then abruptly tell me - in writing - that he was unqualified and never should have been treating me ... well, to say I lost all confidence and respect for him is being kind. Luckily, I found a qualified doctor who essentially told me all of Sackman's advice was wrong (and I'm now feeling great, thanks for asking). That Sackman tries to operate a cosmetic practice out of a dingy, smelly, and outdated office (in my opinion, I suppose others may feel differently) should be more than enough warning to steer clear of him for anything non-medically necessary. I personally certainly would not trust him to make aesthetic choices that impact my body given his lack of concern with the appearance of his business. Addition after Dr. Sackman replied: I see he hasn’t changed and still believes if he says it enough he’ll wish it true. The office is in my opinion quite substandard to any other medical, spa, even plumbing supply back office I’ve ever been in. I saw Sackman himself “repairing” loose carpet with a massive exposed bead of caulk, right in front of his reception desk. That’s not someone whose judgement I’d trust cosmetically. As far as “voluntarily” giving up admitting privileges, if you consider this doctor for any reason you might want to give an area hospital a call and educate yourself as to why privileges matter, particularly for a surgeon. Personally, in an area with so many options I will always opt for a doctor that works well with others and who uses modern electronic records, has privileges, and is part of a large network. Personally I’ve been to 5 specialists in the past few months and the integrated care and extensive electronic records and correspondence is worlds above my experience with Sackman and his scribbled notes where he didn’t seem to recall past visits properly.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and the doctor explained everything from each step and spent the time to listen. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Always amazed and in awe, when I see the end results of the doctor's treatments, procedures and medical care. Very grateful to be able to work with and learn so much from Dr. Sackman.

Wonderful service at front desk! Very accommodating and helpful! Doctor however was very rude and very condescending to my daughter since she chose not to get the vaccine.insinuated she would hurt her grandparents.. when I called him out and said this is not the reason for our visit he stated I’m talking to her not you. I said she is my daughter and her don’t appreciate you attacking her. My daughter was calm and confident stating she had Covid twice. I would highly recommend Dr. Sackman. I’ve been a patient for many years for different procedures. He is very professional, honest and knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients and his staff is always friendly and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sackman's for over 10 years. I have been doing cosmetic procedures, under his direction. In the last ten years, I have received consistently fabulous medical care. Following Dr. Sackman's advice has been the best thing I could chosen. I am constantly told how wonderful I am again - never once has anyone said, "Wow, what did you get done?" As well as providing excellent cosmetic treatment, his staff is absolutely fabulous!

My results were exceptional. Above what I expected. Dr removed a growth from my upper lip that I have dreaded for years. My lip is perfectly “normal” now! Dr was informative, knowledgeable, but most of kind and understanding of my feelings. The office staff was also very kind and understanding. Thank you Doctor for helping me feel more like me.

Deserves less than one star! My wife had a Otoplasty surgery for her ears a year ago. Dr Sackman admitted that he messed up on it and that he will redo the surgery because he didn’t do it correctly. My wife tried to reschedule her surgery and he would always come with the excuse that he had not hired an anesthesiologist yet and that she would have to wait. Been almost a year now and she was still waiting. recently my wife went to see him for advise on her sinuses. A week later we got a bill from the practice charging us for not performed tests. My wife argued and said that she wasn’t paying for it. Then dr didn’t even have the character as a man, let along the professionalisms as a so call “Doctor” to call her back personally, instead he tell her secretary to tell my wife that he will write the bill off, but he is no longer fixing her ears after he messed up. Then when I tried to pay I was told that he now decides to discharge my wife for the office because according to him, their “patient- doctor” relationships is not working any longer. It’s so sad to see how this so call “doctor”, will charge anything, take your money and run away and still messed up the “one” job he had. If you want to be overpaying for everything, get things done half way he is the doctor to go. On the flip side he will get you right in and quick due to lack of people that want to see him; if you want quick, half way services he is the doctor for you! Deserves less than one star! I thought I would try Dr. Sackman based on his yelp reviews. That was a big mistake. Maybe his office staff writes his reviews because I found Dr. Sackman to be a bit odd and his care less than stellar. Dr. Sackman seemed to be very intent on writing down everything I said, then looked at my face and recommended a procedure. I've had facial procedures before but the doctors always look at my face using hand or machine enlargement. This is the only way to determine if your skin damage is pre-cancerous or just sun damage according to my primary physician who I spoke to about this. . My primary physician said that recommending a procedure without doing a good examination is below the physician standard of care and should be reported to the Medical Board which I am considering. If you are looking for a physician to do a facial procedure because of "sun damage" go somewhere else. Skin Cancer must be diagnosed early or the consequences can be life threatening. Had a great experience with Dr. Sackman for an ENT issue. Both he and his staff are very friendly and professional.

Had fat removed from under my chin. I’d been so self conscious of this for so long and thought I’d need a chin implant. Dr. Sackman said I didn’t need the implant and he did a lesser procedure to just remove the fat. I’m so happy with the results and wished I’d done it years ago. The office called me to check on me the day after, very caring. Now it’s been over a year and I’m still so happy with the results and look forward to coming back for other services. I have been going to Dr. Sachman for many years for my Botox and other facial fillers and have never had a bad experience. He takes his time explaining the procedures as well as the anticipated outcome of your visit. I have trusted him completely and I am glad I did. He has made me look at least 20 years younger! And that was just with a combo of Botox and fillers - nothing super evasive. I highly recommend him. I have been utilizing the services of Doctor Sackman for over 5 years now. He is honest, professional, and does a wonderful job. He listens to his patients wants / needs and makes REALISTIC recommendations accordingly. Never pushes you into unnecessary procedures. Remember - he is a facial plastic surgeon, not a magician. Expectations vs. Reality. Trust him when he advises you on something. I did. He will help you age gracefully and not make you look ridiculous. Dr Sackman and his staff were very thoughtful and detailed with my evaluation. Dr Sackman outlined the procedures he would suggest with the pros and cons. I am extremely happy with the results, which were exactly what I was looking for.

Had 2 great experiences with Dr Sackman, one for removal of 2 cysts in my eye area and a visit for my wife to remove warts from her hands. Both had great results! He is knowledgeable, skilled and honest. I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Sackman for over 5 years now with excellent results. His staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Dr. Sackman is always very thorough with my visits. He takes the time to discuss with you what results you would like and goes over what you can expect. I trust him with any procedure because of his extensive knowledge and experience. He's the best.

Dr. Sackman has been absolutely excellent for helping me take control of my seasonal allergies, and the few acne treatments I’ve gone in for have all helped me maintain clear skin like my old cocktail of drug store remedies couldn’t.

I have had many procedures with Dr. Sackman and I will keep coming back. He is honest and skillful and very caring. He explains everything and I know what to expect beforehand because he writes it all down for me after we talk about it. I Highly recommend him.

Dr. Sackman has a large space in an old interesting converted residence. His staff is friendly and helpful. I am concerned about Dr. Sackman's decision to unilaterally change my procedure without speaking with me. When I questioned this at a followup appointment he became impatient and dismissive. Having an informed consent discussion with a patient before a procedure starts is basic for a patient/physician relationship and trust. It determines the parameters of the procedure and what the patient is paying for. A physician violates a patient's trust when he changes the procedure without discussing it with the patient first. For this important reason, I can't recommend this physician.

Horrible experience. Dr Sackman diagnosed me with a "pollen allergy" & medicated me for months- I saw another specialist who sent out for imaging of my ear & found out I had otosclerosis. I spent over 8 months with vertigo & nausea. I'm thankful I moved on from this office & would never recommend them.

I went to Dr. Sackman In February 2019 with hopes of looking younger. He sat me down and handed me a mirror and asked me to point out what bothered me. Then he suggested ( for the second time in two years ) c02 laser resurfacing. I researched this greatly and read that for the most dramatic results this was the thing to do. I didn’t say I wanted brighter skin or a more even complexion at anytime. I wanted wrinkle reduction. On 3/6/2019 I went for this procedure. Even moments before getting it done I was again handed the mirror and asked to point out which areas were the most bothersome to me. I did. Dr. Sackman even made a joke about how I will miss those lines. Well, the treatment did not take away any of my wrinkles. I still have every fine line and crease. When I went for the first follow up he said so you have a wrinkle or two - but your skin looks great. He even said it would continue to improve. It has not. I went to speak face to face with Dr. Sackman on Friday at which time he said he took 50% of the responsibility for not explaining that it would not improve my wrinkles. He would offer no partial refund. He did say he would do it again at a discounted rate. I would never have another procedure from this doctor. I feel very taken advantage of and completely dissatisfied. He also put down another doctor ( in front of his worker , whom he bought in the meeting with me as a witness) who had simply asked me where on my face I had the resurfacing done He too could see no visible wrinkle reduction. After doctors upon specialists and money everywhere, it took this man a 30 minute appointment to find out the problem. He is very courteous and listens to what you have to say. Great experience throughout my daughters medical procedure. I was nervous at first, but his knowledge and him and his staff’s professionalism really helped me feel at ease. Once the procedure was done they followed up multiple times to make sure she was healing fine and feeling good. I’ve had a few follow ups since. He is very thorough and takes his time making sure everything is done right. He makes sure you understand what is going to happen next and how to take care of the procedure when you leave. He is a very good doctor. It’s also a very minimal wait time every time I go. I usually get right in. There was one day I had to wait 5 mins. Dr. Sackman suggested laser resurfacing for my wrinkles at my consultation. He said this would take years off my face. I went for it. It did not address my wrinkles at all. I was very unhappy with the results and went to see him about it. He said he took 50% of the responsibility for not telling me it would not help with my wrinkles which with his advice is why I did it in the first place. He did not care at all that I was unhappy with the results. He offered to do it again with anesthesia which of course will raise the price even higher than the first unsuccessful attempt at a discounted rate. Why would I ever trust him again. Why would I waste any more of my hard earned money on something I just had done with zero results ? Very poor service. Very uncaring. He said so you have a wrinkle or two but your skin looks great. Added insult to injury. He also showed me pictures of a success patient that did have results. Why? To show that he does know mine was incorrectly done. Beware!

No wait time got right in for a follow for my daughter for a small procedure she had. Dr. Sackman is the best. Great bedside manner and treats you like a person not a number. A true professional and informative. Hands down the best doctor I’ve seen in Northampton county pa.

Last week on 6/22/18, I had the Aqua Shape Liposuction procedure with Dr. Sackman. OMG - this was an amazing experience. I was completely awake, no sedatives of any kind. It was truly a PAINLESS procedure. I can not say enough good things about the wonderful care I received from Dr. Sackman and his staff.

Dr. Sackman was my ENT doctor. He did multiple tests to diagnose my sinus problems, and in the end, I discovered that I just needed saline solution to keep my nasal passages moist. He was very patient, up front, and helpful. He also has a great staff. Thanks!
