Mr. Scott Edward Klewer

Dr Klewer has been our daughter's cardiologist for 19 years. She was born with a heart defect. Initially we had a different doctor whom we discovered was lying to us about the severity of the condition. Dr Klewer has always been upfront and helped us make decisions about our daughter's care. He is great with communicating both to her and to us. I trust Dr. Klewer to tell us like it is.

Initially Dr Klewer seemed great, but in a short time I realized there were problems. Communication was lacking with both Dr. Klewer and his office. My calls and messages were not responded to. He also did not respond to the calls from my other dr that needed to coordinate care with him. Tests that he said he was ordering in my appointments were either never ordered or not followed up. He left me hanging with a very serious heart problem and he didn't show any care. When I called him out on all this, he became very defensive and made me cry. It was the worst doctor experience I've ever had. I am afraid to leave my name for fear of retaliation as I see other drs in the same company and need to continue to use the hospital he services.

This was my first time visiting a pediatric cardiologist. Dr. Klewer made my daughter feel at ease. He's clearly great with kids and knowledgeable. In addition, he went above and beyond to accommodate an additional, unscheduled test. This meant a great deal to me.

Dr Klewer was very helpful in getting us information about our daughters condition and in helping us make decisions about her treatment. His office staff was courteous and we were never left to wait for too long either in the office or for procedures.
